Over 24 years now. Played this in 1998 I'm 35 where the hell does the time go???? Glad so many got to enjoy this gem of a game. My heart goes out to all yall.

@@zalamael thank you. Time happen and all that comes with it. Alot of ups and downs but when you see games like this it's a flood of emotions to see something you used to play as kid. I had the window open and let the cool breeze blow in and play this on my TV.

Damn so much memories. I remember playing this game when I was like 9 years old and it was raining outside and I got to play all day no need to worry about money or any problem. this is the first RPG I fell inlove. I miss my childhood 😔 now im 29yo. Busy at my work no time to play in my nintendo switch but I hope they will port all the suikoden games on switch. Im glad I got to play this masterpiece

Hi there, folks. First, thanks for uploading this tracklist. Second, I am glad there are many people remembering this incredible story. And I am pretty sure you all know about Eiyuden coming soon. You know, I think Murayama created the best plot ever when he decided the True Runes would change the fate of the normal people in his stories, not for the good sense, like being a superhero, but more like the questions of why being the chosen one, or the tragedy of it. The only game that showed it. Take it easy.

First ever rpg game I played. I was 8 years old back then. Still a gamer now. I didn’t get to finish this game back then coz I was dumb as a kid and couldn’t get past a certain boss, but now I am playing it again and I’m hooked. I want to finish it this time. I’m into games with really good graphics now but I still get goosebumps playing this one.

It's an incredible story... it got chided at the time for It's graphics and battle mechanics but the story is heart wrenching and it's such an amazing adventure. It was 2 decades later re-evaluated and ranked as one of the best stories ever told..

i was really sad when i first time playing this game. i play without a walkthrough and not gather all the star of destiny character. and in the last battle with jowy i cried because i must kill him and ended the war. i though this was a sad rpg. i didnt know if theres a true ending where jowy and nanami alive :'(

There is. Gather all 108 Stars of Destiny, find Jowy where it all began, and when fighting him, keep in mind what the Bright Shield rune is all about - forgiveness, protection and defense (so, don't attack at all).

Game legendaris tak lekang oleh waktu. Namatin game ini tahun 2022 lewat emulator. Jaman keemasan konami, belum ada micro transaction, belum ada embel2 gacha. Jadi suka rpg gara2 game ini. Best JRPG ever made ❤️

Dude, the second song reminiscence. I am absolutely blown away at how nostalgic that soundtrack made me feel. I never cry, but that song broke my heart strings that I got teary heart because of how far it brought me back. If a game can do this to you, you know its an absolute classical masterpiece. I am completely surrendering my wallet to the remaster and awaiting in high anticipation when it releases ❤️

Versi suikoden yang menurut ane storynya ngena banget, soundnya gak ada yg jelek, hampir semua memoriable btw char fav ane luca blight, walaupun tokoh antagonis, tapi tujuannya jelas, dan kisah kenapa dia bisa sesadis itu sangat" tragis, sayang banget harus mati, wkwk.

I played this from like 13 to 15 years old. 1 and 2 helped improve my english a lot. Spanish its my first language. I wanted to understand the story. I played it multiple times to try different dishes on the cooking contests, get more stars, alternate endings and just get lost for hours in this world. It was a magical time for me. Just to get out of school and play this until 3 am. This is a masterpiece.

Suikoden 2 is amazing! Everything from the music, story, characters, gameplay, visuals. dialogue. Just everything. But I wish they'd make a remake and add one or two campaigns before taking L'Renouille and expand on Highland a little bit. Still, it's my favorite game of all time.
