@thethatchingguy you have clearly been doing that a while. I've never seen it in process before...do you have a video showing the full process? Do you start with a 2x4, 2x6 framing or full walls and the straw is the siding?

Me too! I'd start small like with a dog house. That would certainly be a unique feature on the property! I don't recall seeing any thatched structures here in Nova Scotia but I could be wrong.
