I'm Kenyan and I can honestly say SA has the best singers in Africa. No training needed. They have harmony even during demonstrations.

St Stithians Boys College is the school singing in the first and third video. It’s my school❤️ we call the boys wearing the half blue and half white blazers the war cry leaders (you’re right, they get us hyped). In the third video, the boys wearing light blue blazers have been awarded honors in a certain aspect (could be sport, academics, culture, etc... eg. rugby). The boys wearing the white scarfs are in Matric (grade 12, final year of high school) - it’s just a privilege. Finally, the boys facing away from the camera in the third video are who we call the dukes, they are pretty much the elite choir of the school and they do a lot of a-cappella. The dukes get to wear grey scarfs to show that they are apart of the group.

Bruh, as a teacher in South African ... the comradery that this creates is intense... I'm telling you, a school will lose a match and still sing and chant like this after...

This just brought tears to my eyes. Not sure why. So proud to be African.

South African high schools are all about comradery and children into adults. That is why there is an emphasis on pride in your school and yourself. That is why we have these uniforms to represent yourself well and the school well.

I have never heard of an African who could not sing, or play an instrument, or dance, there is always a way to contribute.
