It probably was a 1701 before being refurbished, but used 2190 parts to replace the 1701 parts that were dirty or broken

That's actually a really good point. I hadn't thought about that. Still disappointing for me personally, since I wanted it to look like a 1701

Nice video! I bought the Bissell Powerforce Helix at Walmart yesterday, the purple one after the Helix Turbo 68C71 stopped working.

Good choice! You should be able to swap the hoses so that way you have the nicer hose

I think I know why it looks like a 2191 they probably changed out the base and they just put 2190 series base on it as well as the dust bin

Not really a point honestly, it's so similar. Like I said, I may get the powerglide pet as a Refurb at some point

Yeah my boss would get the cheap ass bottom of the line powerforce and helix all the time refurbished. These would have white all over the base and they were just never pretty. But you can't complain if you can buy these in bulk from Bissell for like $10 a piece.
