I'm having the same problem with my belt, but even when I put my belt back on it just automatically comes off the metal part everytime it turns on

Make sure to manually turn the brush after install to center the belt and prevent slippage.

I replaced it like you showed, now i smell burning rubber. My brush turns freely and I have suction again.

Make sure the belt isn't caught on anything in the chassis

I have a dirt devil ud20124 endura reach upright barium cleaner . Since I bought it it had the same burning smell I have to do a belt replacement. I don’t know which is the correct belt to purchase. Can u help me ?

Dirt Devil style 15 belt,should be same as the one I show in this video
