Heres a suggestion for a play through, caves only. Ive seen a mod that generates cave only maps inside of mountains, which can be lava, crystal or lush themed. The caves also have a ton of new music, creatures, and plants. The mod is called Biomes! Caverns

So what's the challenge, Can I Learn to Play RimWorld in 100 days? I kid... But seriously, being restricted to a single tile is the majority of RW playthroughs, and on an "island" makes this really just a normal jungle run. I highly recommend checking out players like AdamVsEverything - not to emulate what he does, but watching just one of his runs will make you a borderline esport RimWorld player and give you a deep understanding of the game's mechanics.

So, so many gameplay issues. I'm not sure how much you have played Rimworld, but you caused yourself many, many avoidable issues. You were lucky it was low difficulty, as the wealth gain you had was out of control. Missing things like how to.prevent wooden walls from ever burning down. Using preach for diseases. Not suppressing slaves. Friendly fire safe ranges. Child training for perks/skill. Stacks of batteries.. Also, disease doesn't spread between animals. Yeah, there is an adaption rate if you lose people. Randy could have also just rolled low on the multiplier. Jeez, those batteries at the end of the video. Why? You literally made it that a zzst event on a full charge will blow a massive hole and maybe the whole room apart. Oh, and let's not forget the tending in the dark... It feels like your first or second run, which is fine, I just kept talking at the phone when you did stuff that would cause you problems.
