Guys, wear gloves pala when handling hardieflex. Also, to clarify, Hardieflex isn’t "Moisture Resistant" it’s "Resistant to Damage caused by Moisture" a small but important detail - thats why kailangan parin e waterproof for wet areas. 👌🏼

Good thing we used hardieflex for our ceiling kasi nagleak bubong namin ng ulan,..tumagas nga ang ulan but but but,..after ngdry,...at ilang beses na nangyari ngleak bubong namin,..hndi nasisira,sabi contractor namin if ordinary na plywood lang ginamit baka nadurog na daw,..

Moisture resistant gypsum boards are also good for toilets.. ficem boards are ideal for outdoor areas or areas exposed to weather.. the only downside for ficems aesthetically is that you can’t conceal the terminations hence exposing the grooves in between panels

Thanks for the bathroom tips! I wish you/your content was around when we had our space redone. Hay, years later and I still find "surprises" in the work done. I've also been looking for an anti-slip product and saw Buildrite Klaro. The budol is not a done deal yet because it's currently out of stock lol. Pero it looks promising, you can test it out too if you're looking for options.

I made sure that my bathroom door is wide enough for a wheelchair to pass through! The sa shower and toilet area! Also made a bench in the shower in case someone needs to shower sitting down! And I placed big hooks para sabitan ng suwero! I don't need to bring the IV stand inside the bathroom.

@@savetrinity, no. I learned by experience. When I saw the difficulties of my friends. You know how hard it is for a person coming out from the hospital after a major operation or broken leg bones. If you plan to grow old in your house, better prepare your bathroom and bedroom well. I also built an oxygen line going to the bedroom. No need to bring that heavy tank inside the bedroom. Pag deliver ng oxygen tank, i tell them to put sa garage so hindi hirap yung mag dedeliver na ipapasok at pickup pa sa loob ng bahay. All the doors/corridors in our house is wide enough for wheelchair and stretcher to pass through. You will surely hate it when you're in pain tapos bubuhatin ka from outside of your bedroom! I took note of all the difficulties I saw helping my friends and relatives! Grabe ang hirap!

@@savetrinity, kaya when you are going to design your house, think about it. Lumabas ka sa hospital and you can not walk. Ipapasok ang stretcher sa bedroom. Kaya ba? Hehehe!

Speaking of bathroom, I'm now designing what i call a covid room to be used before entering the house. A place to put the whatever na binili sa labas for disinfection, a place to remove and put the clothes i wore outside, and a shower room. Buwiset, parang working in a laboratory! Hehehe!

Yes. Always buy non-slip or non skid types for t&b flooring. If you're going to use stone flooring, go for matte or rough. Honed is usually used in hotels but bathrooms in hotels are more compact. And always have handgrabs incorporated in the bath design.

Yay! That's why my dad used that tiles na murag syay naa nga texture, that's whyy pala. I was weirded out at first but then when I tried to act "slipping" dili jud mag slip. Labyuu dad, best decision ever. Thank you for the tips too engr ❤️
