@@skaixx1864 To my understanding yeah, in conversation it's weird to refer to yourself specifically because you're there. In song it's fine, I think because you're not talking to someone in particular. I may be totally wrong since I'm just learning as well.

@@skaixx1864 Hmm.... it depends on the situation you're in, I guess...but yeah, we don't mention ourselves so frequently. So your suspicion is mostly correct. To be honest, I rather feel a little bit strange about the "あなたに（anata ni）" part because we avoid showing negative opinion with mentioning (or maybe I must say "targeting") the others. But in this Video, she is attacking directly to others so it's fine...maybe?

Daniel Matito Good question. The word "同意しません(disagree)" is the more polite way to express negative opinion. If we were to attack or hurt somebody, we usually do not use these polite words but more offensive or neutral ones. So I felt a little strange and also paradoxically attractive when I saw her yelling "私はあなたに同意しません！" with the brutal guitar riff exploding in the background.

To anyone dissing this for "not being real metal": It's nu metal, post-genre industrial metal, or industrial rock, a more simplified version of them. It's obviously not classic heavy metal music, it has Pop/Electronic elements, Industrial Metal elements, Trap-ish/Hip Hop-ish elements (more noticeable in X), and it is great to many people. It's all subjective. Learn how to not diss things you don't like or enjoy.

@@RoyalGuardEziode Well, it is considerable, but some of the guitar riffs sound like Korn, Rammstein or Marilyn Manson-ish, but Poppy describes her music as very experimental, she says she has no Genre, some people define it as nu metal or post genre, and on Wikipedia, it shows various genres for this album, so it's very relative, it is so experimental that it is less objetively describable.

i feel like this song is somewhat about titanic sinclair. “i disagree with the way you continue to pressure me.” titanic pushed poppy to turn herself into something she’s not and to completely change herself. “i disagree with the way you are failing to pleasure me.” titanic didn’t give poppy freedom or any credit. he took it all for himself. he was controlling her. hence, she wasn’t feeling happy and wasn’t pleased with it.

Actually I’m pretty sure it’s about how the Illuminati burned down Malibu to not only put in a new monorail line, but also to distract from the fact they were burning down average civilians’ homes in another part of the US at the same time. I feel bad I don’t remember where. Northern Cali - Wolsey and Paradise I think? May have been elsewhere there were A LOT of ‘wildfires’ in 2018; but everyone was focused on whether Kimye’s house was burning down, or other celebs. Idk if Poppy’s house was one of them but I’m sure the celebs knew, though they didn’t like it.

A. G. I find Tatiana of Jinjer attractive in almost the same way. She has such a unique and fun singing style but then she produces monster vocals. Judgement & Punishment is amazing in just that regard. If you find Poppy attractive I would definitely check Jinjer out as well

Poppy is my new theme song for life. Honestly, when I can’t fall asleep I sing this song in my head and I’m gone. I don’t know how fd up that makes me, but I’m glad for it. Something creepy AF about masked band members. Slipknotish. I love the middle guitarist heabanging behind her. It feels like it’s all green screened cuz you couldn’t have them all in a room together without hell breaking loose.
