what i don't get is the fact that the patriots had several reasons to actually go against them, i.e the cheating scandals, while the chiefs have none of that. plus they have an incredibly likable head coach and qb. pat has an annoying brother and some don't like his wife but thats got nothing to with the team. the swifty thing is also ridiculous. I get wanting to have another team win when one keeps doing it year after year, but the hate the chiefs are starting to get is completely over the top.

It was a completely different game back then, DBs could actually guard WRs without getting flagged. QBs also weren't coddled. Mahomes would have one season where he played every game back then because he would have been injured from hits

Aikman never really had that impressive of stats to be honest. Dan Marino was WAYYY better if we are looking at the stats column. Aikman definitely benefited HARDCORE from Emmitt Smiths insane durability and HOF career. Aikman just needed to be a decent game manager and make a couple big throws when the time called. Plus he had arguably the greatest offensive line ever assembled giving him a eternity in the pocket to throw it. I've seen Mahomes run around like a chicken with his head cut off and still somehow pull off huge plays even if he has to throw it leaping through the air like superman 45 yards down the field 😂🤷. Only to watch it nail his receiver directly in the face mask and go incomplete lmao. Aikman couldn't so anything close to that in his prime even in his dreams..

I always gotta remind people that during the LOB's reign of terror for 5 straight years as the number 1 scoring defense, least yardage allowed, lowest passer ratings ect... That unlike the 2000 Baltimore Ravens Or the 1985 Chicago Bears the Seahawks and LOB dominated in the modern area where breathing on the WR/QB wrong gets you a automatic 15 yard penalty or PI let alone ejected. In the time where offenses have become much more complex, engineered and harder to defend. And in a time where passing is the dominant choice over running. They were able to accomplish all that despite those massive changes. In 85 Mike Ditka was all d to clothesline the QB lmao 😂😂 And the fact in super bowl 48 against statistically the greatest offense ever in every category in the 2014 Broncos the LOB damn near pitched a SHUT OUT on that offense if not for a garbage time TD last play of the 4th with second stringers in the lineup 🤷 All on all the game is much different then it once was and it's very hard to compare 2 completely different eras, players, teams in all. The game is much more in favor of the offense nowdays and heavily pitted against the D.

The guy already had picked up a collection of Injuries this year and IIRC started the season with tendonitis in one of his Achilles Tendons. It's the fault of the PT and training staff not resting him more throughout the season.

more of a special teams showdown than anything. game came down pretty critically to kickers and punters. if the 49ers dont fuck up that punt return and give chiefs amazing field position maybe its different but thats how the cards unfolded. two fumbles early and a muffed punt, lot of mistakes for a super bowl. but at least the game was close.@@captainasher287

@@rothed16 It honestly would depend on what happened during the play. If he was just running when it tore, it likely would have been the same as when it happened while running off the sideline. If it went out during a collision or tackle with another player, it could have been worse depending on where the hit landed.

Out of every single possible post-Superbowl breakdown, this was the one that I was looking forward to the most. Because the ANGST is just beautiful! I don't want to say that your pain makes me happy... but it is absolutely the one thing I look forward to the most about, whenever you talk about the Kansas City Chiefs.

5:17 Back in Manning's first SB with Denver, I had a bad feeling when they lost the coin toss. They usually deferred when they won the coin flip but Seattle put Peyton on the field first. Then after the first play, the bad snap that turned into a safety, I knew the Broncos were in trouble and that the game was probably already over. I was a Denver fan those four years. Glad that P. Manning went out on top two years later.

I laughed so many times watching this - as a Chiefs fan since the 80's, Elway was the bane of my existence. Truth - I had his pic in my deep freezer for 3 years after he retired to make sure he didn't come back. Ed McCaffrey was a beast and Neil Smith going to the Bronco's was a hard one to swallow. Call me a forever Raider & Bronco hater ......love the rivalry.

Funny but not funny enough.. one of my girl-friends, had a long as post on Facebook about how Kelce’s behavior towards Andy was totally unacceptable which I kinda understood.. then she went on about how there’s rumors of him having anger issues and how “who knows what he does behind closed doors to Taylor” and basically saying he’s an abusive boyfriend. Then had like 100 other girls comment on her post saying “100% girl I agree”.
