I am looking forward to the whole album as I love this classic doo-wop music from the 50's-60's. I know all the songs on the new cd & plan to order it. This song "Come Go With Me" is by The Dell-Vikings from 1957. Tim's voice is perfect for this style of music as he can sing in all the different ranges. Doo-wop is a vocal style of rock & roll characterized by the a cappella singing of nonsense syllables in rhythmical support of the melody.

There's a great tradition of street-corner singing that launched the doo-wop craze of the '50s. The Del-Vikings' recording of this song is one of my top favorites, as is My Prayer by The Platters, The Crewcuts' recording of Sh-Boom, and In The Still Of The NIght by The Five Satins. They're just good songs, and the vocal arrangements make them better. Great reaction!

Thank you for your reaction! Just a suggestion - you might want to change the name to 'Foust' so that the video can be found more easily. A lot of Fries search for 'Tim Foust' (myself included) and if I hadn't been subscribed to you I might have missed this...

Tim Foust is terrific, and this is one of the greatest songs from the Doo Wop era, but it affirmatively was not by the Temptations. The group was the Del-Vikings, famous for this song and for Whispering Bells, as well as being one of the the first (and only) mixed-race Doo Wop groups. He does a terrific cover.
