Mirko's biggest flaw throughout his career was cardio. He would dimish the longer fights went particularly big fights like this. He knew he needed to end Ernesto early hence the big flurry in the first round. Once Mirko tired and Ernesto found his groove he was always gonna be difficult to beat.

@Srbija Ubija Slabo ti to pratis. Na turnirama se borbe odvijaju jedna za drugom, sve dok se ne dođe do finala. Mirko je navodno imao slomljena rebra i mozes vidjeti da ga je Hoost tocno tamo pogodio. To je razlog zasto je Mirko odustao/izgubio. Pa sad ti zamisli da neko tebe drmne u tvoja natucena/slomljena rebra. Ne uzimavsi u obzir narednu borbu, Hoost je naravno zasluzeno pobijedio. Jos samo da se nadovezem na spominjanje ustava. Evo ja Hrvat, cijeli zivot zivim u Hrvatskoj isto kao moji roditelji i ostali preci i nikad nitko od nas nije poznavao niti jednog jedinog ustasu. A sad ako je tebi fora svakog Hrvata povezivat sa ustasama, svaka ti cast, al ako si ozbiljan trebao bi bolje pogledati na stvari. Jucer sam na yt pogledao debatu hrv srp i bih politicara oko pozdrava "Za dom spremni. " Dakle za tri jebene rijeci. Osobno bih opalio samar svakome od njih. Toliko toga krivog izreceno da covjeka sram bude. Na primjer, vas srp "naucnik" je izjavio da mladi upijaju sadrzaj ko spuzve (dakle bez promisljanja) i huskaju rat. Pa jebote mladi ljudi su prvi koji se druze bez obzira na nacionalnost tj. zajebavaju se. Nesposobna manjina diktira vanjsku politiku nasih naroda koji su sami po sebi brojcano mali i protiv toga se treba boriti i razgovarati.

Все поменялось, кто то скажет пришло в упадок.- на смену зрелищным боям пришли техничные с длинным языком , не все но зачастую. От ихних треш токов вместе со штрих токами у людей давление поднимается больше , чем от самого боя, тут тоже все стало более проще и техничнее , обросло всевозможными правилами и ограничениями. И тем нимение есть яркие бойцы, дарящие захватывающий бой. И конечно большое уважение бойцам из "позавчера", которые выступали в более жестких " коммунальных" условиях. И Хуст среди них далеко не одинок.Вспомните хотя бы нашего Вончанчина....

Yes Mirco was injured before like most fighters in these tournaments of 4 fights in same night, risk they know about before they step in ring. HIstory says that Hoost "had" Mirco since this was not the first fight. Hoost was a fighter waiting for the right moment the opponent to open defences for a good attack in meanwhile was damaging their legs with his "axes". Both legends!

Cro Cop looked to be physically in his prime here and throwing some huge punches early on... But Hoost as a true master kickboxer let him punch himself out and then moved in for the kill there in round 3. Both men were warriors but Ernesto Hoost is a true legend in kickboxing.

Phenomenal fighters. The reason why Mirko could never beat Hoost and Bob Sapp did was because Mirko tried to fight a technical/precise fight with Hoost which was the worst strategy possible against him. Nobody was more technical and sharp than Hoost but he was overwhelmed with relentless attacks in a way that didn't work against Mirko because Mirko was just too strong and kept moving. The fight game is so interesting in how one fighter affects another fighter completely different than the next.

Sorry friend i have to correct you. Ernesto lost twice to sapp. Mirko beat Sapp. Related to this match. Mirko absolutley dominated in the first round. He ernded an injury in the semifinals. Broken rib. So he lost after the first or second blow. Greetings from Croatia.
