The fight really put questiones in mind of there would ever be a Lewis-Tyson fight now. How would Lewis be rated? Was he done? Lewis felt moe embarrased about the defeat but accepted that he lost by a knock-out. At least this time it was a legit one in his book as he could not beat the 10 count unlike his first upset loss to Oliver McCall back in 1994, where he was not allowed to continue despite having beaten the count. The rematch would happen in November 2001 and Lewis promised evreyone that he would knock-out Rahman and KO him earlier then he did to him.

One of the few fights i watched as a kid. I stayed at my dads on saturday night and he got the fight knowing lewis was most likely gonna end it quickly. We didnt witness a douglas/tyson moment but for me it felt like it was.
