These economy videos are always appreciated when I'm trying to introduce a new player to the game and teach them about how to earn the resources for new packs.

I also recommend buying the mastery on the first month a new set drops so you can use the draft token early. Drafting before opening many packs guarantees you don't get a 5th copy of a rare or mythic you want since there is no protection for draft packs. Additionally, playing at least one limited ranked game per month gives you another free pack at the end of the season so you can make the most out of that draft token by extending the event over the whole duration of the set.

And most important tip, dont waste your wildcards :) Do some research on the deck you want to play. Watch videos of the decks and start with mono color decks. You can find a lot of budget decks on youtube. If you found a deck you like, you can most likely upgrade it. And YES, you do need the rare lands with double/tripple color decks. But grinding up to Plat is pretty easy. I got to gold with a 0rare deck. And make sure to play atleast 1 rank game/season.

How are you getting so many cards per pack?

They have a full team that is expert in advertising, psychology, behavior and mathematics. When you think you decide, you just do what they expect from you. The game is direct play after dowload : first step. The first day, you'll get much rewarded, then suddenly no reward anymore and you leave : you did what is expected, since they wanted you to be frustrate. The day after, you come back for new reward and you guess you made a good decision : they wanted you to get used to come daily for daily rewards. Than you'll get tempted by cheap shopping : the 5$ starter bundle and the 15$ exceptional bundle, and you guess you did well cause you bought cheap : you sworn you'd never buy and you bought, and you've linked your card. And then you just spend a few $ each year for mastery pass or some bundle : you'll say you don't spend that much ; it reminds me what alcoholics or smokers say.

Reflexion of the day; How to unscrew what WOTC screwed for us. Nice subject but mtga still sucks. lol there is no game play! the time it takes to build a deck and then to get decent amount of rewards with good games, is so low. but it's mostly a broken game where most of the games are either lost too fast or win too fast. Not to mention the famous mana screw and flood and mirror match making in which gives the game a very narrow fun. Sometimes it is fun, but...too rarely.
