I was all about game shows as a kid, and this was one of my favorites. Seeing it again puts a smile on my face.

You know what's a little puzzling? (No pun intended.) On day two, Jim observed that Sandi got "Fight" with only one letter, but on day one, never pointed out that Cheryl got "Court" without any letters. Just an observation, that's all.

The great thing about the nine couples that won $1,000,000 is that even though the show was cancelled in 1987 and Lorimar-Telepictures doesn't exist anymore, Warner Bros. (the company that currently owns all Lorimar-Telepictures and Lorimar Television shows) continued issuing the winning couples their annual checks.

Chuck Donegan, a game show fan who uploads episodes on Dailymotion, has Andrea & Michael Foster’s three days in his collection. I know because his trading page lists it as “Three consecutive episodes from 1986 featuring Andrea & Michael Foster as they become millionaires.” What I’m getting at is that when the time comes that he uploads them, it'll be interesting to see if they are combined into one video like these or if each day is just an individual video, which is actually more common from what I've seen.

Really awesome win! It seemed like Cheryl was nervous but really found a way to stay calm and cool to really deliver for the team. I think I also seen her on an episode of Wheel of Fortune later on. I wonder what happened with them and if they are living happily ever after. Congrats on the win!

The whole 3rd episode wasn't without sound, just round 2 of it.

Bill was still okay. He did get a clue on day one, and on days two and three, he tried to get one but missed. (Day 2, he probably confused Wintertime and Snowman. Day 3, it could have been "Shopping," but he just rang in too early. And yes, I know there was no sound during that round on these copies, but the late Michael Tiller of the Game Show Temple Archives has these three episodes separately, but in better quality, and thus no sound loss, as does Spencer Denison. That's how I know.) Which brings me to something else, did you notice in round two of day one, Bill would applaud for Marci each time she got a clue, but when he got one, he didn't even bother to applaud for himself? That does show humbleness, modesty, and good sportsmanship, doesn't it?

I read somewhere they had to shoot the post-million win after the actual show for 2 reasons 1) Cheryl's family wasn't at the actual taping and 2,she nearly fainted from dehydration.

Sadly BIll and Cheryl divorced a few years after this show aired. Cheryl was on Wheel in 1989 and was still married to Bill then. Sometime after that, they divorced. Cheryl was interviewed by someone and she said that in reality, she wasn't a truck driver, she would just tag along with her husband and help him drive. She also said that they were told that the star key, which represented punctuation, was NEVER the stinger. Cheryl also said she hasn't talked to Bill in a very long time.
