I found that the long press consistency problem I was having was because of the controller I was using now it works perfectly fine w a ps5 controller

I tried to do the instant loot to my left stick and it just wouldn’t work. Also I folllowed the tap strafe to a tee and I still get the occasional ones that just don’t work. Yet in the firing range the exact Same will work 1000%, yet game creates a delay. Ugh

i play double claw and your binds are crazy for double claw, defo can make you a better player, its just i played default binds while double claw, and this switch is hard to adapt to. Thank you tho will make me a better movement player

Another way to access the config screen is to go big picture mode, library, games, apex legends then controller config

how come when your doing your configs to bind wall running,you say that for you its on right bumper but when you show an example of you doing it your controller screen shows that your pressing square and left/right Dpad i was just confused because im not sure abt how j should do it then,also can you explain why you have right bumper as your tap strafing aswell i dont really see the point and it means you cant really ping and do other stuff,but id like to know why you do it,and are your configs and setting compatible for ranked and do you play ranked?

Guys if you still want to tap-strafe with long press on left stick you have to turn cycle binding on for W.

Just done setting my tap strafe bindings,I found that binding it to RB or RT is way easier to use but i have a new issue is that when i try to heal and tap strafe at the same time,it automatically cancel my healing,Does anyboady know how to fix this issue?Many thanks

Pretty sure it only cancels while healing if you try to tapstrafe backwards (i.e. in the direction directly behind you) without turning your camera all the way around. Try just tapstrafing like you would on PC when you heal, by always facing the direction you want to go

what grip u play on controller and with how many fingers? cuz pressing R1 and A at the same time would mean u either press R1 with ur index or middle finger. if u press it w ur index then i guess ur just built diff cuz thats just too fast, but if u press it w ur middle then u cant shoot while doing it. so which one is it? or u play claw w ring finger so u can always hold R2 and therefore free ur middle finger so it can always be on R1 and ur index on buttons.

Ok I actually figured out how to make long press work every time. You have to uncap frames with Fps_max 0 and it works every time for me now

@@Nivedx I wasn’t capped for awhile and it worked perfect. Then decided to cap and it just stopped being consistent so I tried to figure out what changed so I just uncapped again and it worked again consistently

@@itsTodd yea when i tap strafe its usually with the spacebar input so i continuously jump while tap strafing. I just changed the bind from spacebar to the normal jump button on my controller. The less mnk inputs binded to your controller = The less fps lost

@@itsTodd Honestly man if you have your settings exactly as in the video im not sure what's wrong. In my case I had my own binds that made everything a little bit messy but the video's settings should be fine I assume. Sorry for not being of any help brother

Yooo Nived, I think I figured out why long press doesn't work for certain people. If you're on PS4 Controller or anything else, the ras and tap strafe work way better on regular press. I am on a PS4 Contoller I tested both long and regular press. I think long press works better only on PS5 controllers. W Tutorial btw. Known your channel for a while. You're still goated as hell

Not true sadly. I have a Scuf Reflex and Scuf Impact. Both do the same thing for me with W on Long Press
