This video is very useful. Question: Some investors talk about synthetically owning the stock by selling puts above current price. What are your thoughts about that?

Hmmm i personally trade straddles instead, here is why 1 double the premium , hence bigger break even 2 short puts are directional 3 straddles is a potential lottery ticket if shares close atm 4 i hold till a 25% return then sell 80% but keep the lottery ticket

This is a great channel with a lot of good information. I look forward to continuing to follow you and learn more and perhaps one day utilize your platform. On the other hand, you have absolutely got to watch the typos and verbal slips because in this one video alone I think I counted four or five times you said A when you meant B and people who don't know better are sitting there, following along with a pencil writing down what you say and sometimes you speak sloppily and you make mistakes. But like I said, you obviously know a lot about this stuff and it's just your speaking style that could let you get ahead of yourself. Good luck and I look forward to watching you in the future

This is a rather simplistic approach. Writing further OTM put spreads allow you to write far more puts, further OTM with low possibility of assignment generating far higher premium %

This is a great video and a great strategy. I have been selling puts for premium for several years and I can say selling puts and the occasional calls has changed my life.

Very good video. Started selling covered calls last year, and as I've gone to more cash in the current market, selling puts on stock I'd like to own at a lower price has been a good way to generate income on the cash.

This is how I pick stocks for the wheel strategy. I never understood the 30 delta strategy when you think the stock is good and don't mind owning it. Congrats on your son!

With Delta 40 you are subject to volatility. Going further OTM may reduce return but it also reduces risk. With delta 40 you have good premium for a few trades, only to lose it the moment the market turns against you.

As a strategy I would sell a short PUT and if the stock gets assigned I would turn around and sell a COVERED CALL.

just make sure you want to own the stock at the strike price! When you're down thousands on a short put you might no longer want to own.. you must want to own no matter what..

i think sell option risk vs reward is too low. Unless u really want to own this stock, its not worth it u sell put u also need yo allocate huge amount of fund and if u screw up a few trade, u will be in margin call. $2500 locked for this trade for potential of 100$ totally not worth it.

KWEB play was a total loss. You were off HUGE. Such a major miss. Terrible job with your strategy.

I tried listening to the video and I didn't hear a mention to KWEB. What was the recommendation? If it was an at the money put, you be about break even considering this video came out on 12/9 and you made about 243 in premium so the stock lost was absorbed (for a stock you want to own anyway) and you'd still be holding onto the put since the recommendation is to purchase about 40 days out.

@@JosefTorkelsen KWEB had a target price of $59 per Zhang. It’s sitting at $34. He totally missed like 80% of the time!
