Wow no lie of all the tips I've got seems like your tips more than any perfectly describe the trouble I've been having I'm a very aggressive player by nature so that's one of my problems but the rest were addressed as well only other problems I have mostly involve stuff like knowing what I can and can't escape this guy was doing I crazy broken switch combo on me I could swear wasn't Guaranteed but idk I feel like sometimes I'm dodging the wrong way or something

Also for anyone who plays fighting games with dodges/dashes and is wondering how to catch them, after a month of getting my ass kicked by a homie i learned that holding any directional keys cancels out the games aim assist. Most decent players will hold dodge into blue so always keep that in mind, but if youre just talking about consistently catching dodges just hold dodge and either dont press any directionals or let go of them before hitting. This will have the game track their dodge, ive also noticed (for katana at least cause i mostly plan 3bans and main katana and staff) vertical tracks better. If someone hold dodges past you and holds horizontal they go into a stance that can duck a horizontal, so playing with verticals and timing is important

Me and my homie who is Asura i think its called are always 1v1ing. I got the game about a month ago but am still struggling. When we play three bans we'll hold blue in each others faces and because i know hes gonna hold and wait i attack and hold dodge past him and go to charge blue again but before i can he hits me with timing that wins him neutral. But it seems that when i try it hes either already sitting in blue or it just doesnt track. Is it timing or am i missing something?

What gets me on this game is that im quick to die against dead ass focus spammers even tho i shouldn’t but i kill people that actually do combos nd shii fr. Its like when i need a parry the most i just dont pull it off. But in the middle of a fight i can just sometimes predict a blue focus nd just parry it without even thinking but i cant parry a move i see charging up for years🤦🏾‍♂️

also i realized that most of the times you dodge after an attack, you dodge straight into the enemy and not away from them right?

I can't play this game anymore. Its mainly bots for me, and they literally dominate me. Been playing every day for the last two weeks and ive gotten no where. I want to enjoy this game but im finding it impossible
