Like the honesty in your video's, I retired a couple of years ago and then the pandemic hit and then my beater car wouldn't pass smog and they wanted a couple thousand to fix it so I said no way and donated it to a non profit and got a $500 credit on my taxes and purchased a RadRunner Plus its a little expensive but I don't have to pay for gas, registration, smog or insurance

His points about Ebikes vs mopeds are very valid. I have sat around for hours pondering the security flaws in small PEVs. I believe they have their place, but supplemental to efficient petrol/hybrid cars.

I think the best thing would be for a delivery driver to have a hybrid car, electric bike, and an Emove Roadrunner depending on your mood for the day.

Like the Honda ruckus set up but the electric scooter is still my favorite it just comes down to what fits you the best they both got there pros and cons. Where I live at I would probably have to go with the ruckus because I don’t live in a congested living or tourist attraction area.

Great video as always Steve! I love the Ruckus! I remember back in my late 20s I had one and was one of those guys who spent a ton of money on mods, swapped the engine out for a 125, tons of motor upgrades exhaust wide fat tire, the list goes on. Used to have so much fun on that thing. Thinking back on those days makes me want to get an electric scooter sometime in the near future, hopefully, we shall see!

Love your videos and wilcers also. I use that same box from crankhustle and I love it. I've carried 9 LG iced coffees from dunkin plus food, didn't spill a drop. My ride is a honda trail 125, up to 60mph and 125mpg. I dash, uber eats, grub hub and insta cart over on the east coast in Ocean city, MD. Stay safe, make that money.

100 miles on a small tank of gasoline is crazy good. I'd still prefer electric because I don't like the maintenace involved with gasoline powered vehicles

Has Wilcer said anything about any mods done to his ruckus? My Chinese 49cc gy6 scooter has the "big bore" installed, along with 7g variator sliders, instead of rollers. It made the takeoff way quicker and helps with driving uphill. 35-40mph uphill and 45mph on flats. It's nice to see that other people are out there enjoying life, too. Just set a new Saturday record of $250 for 8 hours with $10 in gas. For my area, that's pretty good. 90 Miles to the gallon. Tires are cheap. Insurance is cheap. Maintenance is Cheap if you do it yourself. If you are somebody questioning if you should, I would say if you have the means, go for it. It's a nice lifestyle.

Do you feel that delivering with the Rukus gets you more orders? As compared to delivering with a car? I too uber eats deliveries in Culver City, Westchester, pico union area and sometimes Hollywood areas. Depending on which day it is.

Moped is a workhorse, escooters are more like fun toys. Modded ruckus looks fun unless u 6ft tall +. Still wonder how many hours u have to put in to be able make that kind of money. Here in NYC u have to sleep in Uber veh8cle to make 10 grand and its before expenses.

I just signed up in Phoenix, I don't really have the budget for this scooter, I have a car, but being in the city I feel a scooter would be almost just as fast and more fun to ride around throughout the city, than the stress of driving and parking. I have a cheap gotrax, but I know that will not be suitable, I was just curious you could recommend a starter scooter for around $1K. (note - I'm a college student, doing this to make money when I have the time!)

Don’t get me wrong thinking I’m knocking gigwork. I do it full time now and love it. I’m doing it because I’ve been on corporate wheel and hated it. I do gig because of being able to pay my bills with less stress and effort. If someone is dedicated enough to work. 100 hours per week they should use that time to build a company that changes the world instead of bringing people food.

Your gonna be working about 15 hours a day 7 days a week 100 hours per week. If you can average 25$ per hour that’s 10,000 a month. Now if you put that much work into an actual job with overtime etc you would make 15,000 for the same amount of time and wouldn’t have any expenses.
