Great list! I don’t know about anybody else, but I’d love to see, at least, the five years between the nuking of metropolis and the main story of Injustice be animated into a film, maybe two like the dark knight returns.

It’s completely horrible. Alan Moore better stick to The Watchmen. The Killing Joke was possibly thee worst Batman story ever written. It’s a complete shitfest and very likely the most overrated storyline ever written. Right up with DKR as the most overrated comics ever..... The Death of Superman and Batman: Year One utterly destroy both of those. There’s no debate about that at all. It is Fact.

I always loved Superman for All Seasons. It was everything pure and right about Superman, distilled, while still keeping him humble. I'll always remember a panel where a kid says his costume is cool, and Superman's reply is "Thank, my mom made it for me."

Not even remotely. Lmao that animated movie was terrible. Just like the damn story. Literally the ONLY REASON at all DKR was even remotely good is because it gave us the Dark Batman that we all love. That is IT.... Batman: Year One is 1000-Fold Better in every way. THAT was Miller’s masterpiece. Not fucking DKR...... The Death of Superman, Kingdom Come, Year One, Batman: Endgame and Zero Year, and Soooo many others completely put DKR to absolute Shame. Period.

I really do, he will always be my all time favorite superhero and about the tv show Arrow i think that season 1 was great, season 2 was awesome, season 3 was bad, season 4 was crap and it is where i stop watching because they did kill off Black Canary on a Green Arrow show which is unacceptable and unforgivable the tv show is dead to me olicity kill it.

If anyone hasn't read Mark Waid's JLA - Tower of Babel, I encourage you to download it or get the collected edition immediately. The way it examines the personal dynamics of Justice League members is incredible. And the last few pages of the story are gut-wrenching.

@@richh6001 - Yes. The story is iconic. It is one of the few Justice League stories that reveals who these characters are in relation to each other. Most JLA stories focus solely on the team's impact on the rest of the galaxy.

Flashpoint definitely deserves a place in the list. Litterally the most compelling story in the DC universe along with creating the biggest reboots ever.

@@second1814 just because the original comics were called Under The Hood, doesn't mean he doesn't like the story... That's just being a douche for no reason. The original comics storyline was called Under The Hood, then they made the animated movie and called it Under The Red Hood, and then when the comics were put into a graphic novel, they did label that novel as Under The Red Hood. So he's not wrong just because he didn't know the old original name, and used the name that most people call it.

BibbyBoxx2219 1). TDKR is the only reason batfans believe that Bats can defeat Supes and it is also one of the reasons why supes is considered less ethical and self righteous than Batman 2). The Killing Joke is half baked shit, simple, just coz it involves Joker's origin doesn't mean it has content, it lacks content, it's not epic, it's not complex either, forced complexity is another thing....why not put "A serious house on a serious earth" in the place of it....plus Joker has become an overrated and overused villain lately, with no new development (I don't count "three active jokers" as a development, DC is so busy with Doomsday clock right now that the three jokers storyline will run out of it's own hype

THE JG SHOW DOTF/Endgame is one of the best comics ever written. Scott Snyder is an absolute boss. That was probably thee best Batman run of all time. Paul Dini is still the best Superman writer of all but I think Snyder has surpassed on him on The Batman.

One book that I think is constantly overlooked, but incredibly deep is the Elseworlds title "Batman: Holy Terror". The art is just mid-90's "meh", but the writing and concepts are superb. Definitely worthy of a sequel.

I dug the hell out of Snyder's batman, but superhevy and bloom were weird as hell. Gordon being batman in a mech suit is fine, just the villians he fought were so odd it distracted me, and gordon's haircut without his mustache he looked like the same age as bruce.

Was hoping Crisis on Infinite Earths would be on the list too. I think the list was too short, as it should have gone up to 20 or 30 for a more comprehensive list of reading recommendations. I'm also fond of Blackest Night, Flashpoint, and Rebirth in general. Still want to check out Injustice, but it's fairly long at this point.

The punisher is dope. More effective, more dangerous, but not smarter. If they went toe to toe he would be played and fall fast. Though batman wouldn’t kill him so that gives frank an infinite number of tries... that, given his experience, would most likely end in bats death. Would be a cool cross over. Batman vs punisher
