I think since this is a “best shortstop” rather then this season, he doesn’t have that career longevity to match some if the top 5 guys

@@jmax850true, Turner may not have had a better season. But I’m still surprised how they ranked him under Swanson and Bogarts. We clearly saw before that he has extreme talent in August and the WBC, which were both last year. Some people need to realize that players struggle and need to adjust to their new environment

bo is too high if anything. he puts together extremely consistent seasons but last year he didnt take as many PAs. He just doesnt have the upside of a lot of these guys, since he isnt a good defender and he isnt a big base stealing or power threat.

Right? Only Turner's highlight at #5 was with the glove. Just as well, since everyone knows about his "America's Short stop" WBC grand slam, tho not sure how many know about his home run streak and 17-game hitting streak since August.

Thank you for giving Lindor the #2 spot. In a very disappointing season overall for the Mets, Lindor quietly had an excellent season. Let's hope New York doesn't waste too many more prime Lindor seasons.

Only placement I agree with is Seager at 1. Bogaerts at 3 is ridiculous considering he has regressed since signing his big contract. I would have had Bobby Witt Jr in the top 5 considering his age, elite hitting and base running. Bad list imo

Based on 2023 first of all turner was better than dansby Lindor is number two this year I would go as far to switch Witt and Swanson, Lindor and Bichette

No defensive plays in here at all? Corey seager was our mvp no doubt but rare you see him make some insane defense plays like correa or witt Jr he out slugged them sure but there's more to being in at short than hitting fml 😕 it is after all a defensive role why we don't see any of that in here is crazy 🤷‍♂️

Seager was a gold glove finalist. He just doesn’t have crazy range like a Lindor. He was really good defensively for the Rangers this year.
