I love my Mizunos Wave Mujin TL Gore-Tex. They are super comfy and breathable. A bit chunky but I like that :)

The mountain fly by Nike has been my go2 even for the snow.The weather is always changing here in NYC so we all need a versatile pair. These are a bit more techy tho. Looking forward to try those Pegasus 39

In the Winter when it snows or when the rain falls I´m wearing the NB Protection Arctic Blue. Have the Lunar for sunny times and the Arctic Blue for the bad times

I love the kith x-t6, burnt henna , however they're just too narrow for myself unfortunately. My feet are average width, but when I sized 1/2 up there was way too much room in the toe box. I want to love these but my feet say no. Those black gore Tex are also perfect. It's a shame they're only for narrow feet. I quite like the Notre X-t4's but those aren't gore ex. I don't believe any xt-4 gore Tex's exist.

It rains ALOT here in the East Coast. My go to have been the Jordan 1 Element in the light curry colorway. Something dope about rocking J1 Highs in the rain. 😂

I think you forgot one of the best options, especially for places with rain but not that heavy like Berlin, like portugual, my home country, and other southern european countries with sunny and rainy spring and fall: the NB 574 Goretex. You can get in so many colors! I love them for rainy days, they are great shoes, some with great suede, but at a price point you don't mind them getting dirty a bit faster than other ones. The Jordan 5 Gore-Tex was a Stock X Release, those shoes never came out in the US, that’s why they are going for $300+

Hey Josh! You show water being poured over the shoes and streaming off. However Goretex protects water from inside the shoe. Do you have a favorite or two, of water protectant sprays? I've tried many with no luck. THANKS!

Agree a pointless exercise, what needs to be done is walk submersed up to the ankle depth in water. The only ones found so far that are waterproof are Merrell Nova 3 GTX until youve walked 210 miles

Bro ! I'm lucky here in Maryland 🇺🇸. Might rain 15% of the time. I usually rock some $50 synthetic upper Nike Waffles. About as exciting as McDonald's fries but they get the job done! Those Goretex NB 2002r's look amazing!

Personally, I find low tops not very weather resistance and is far easier and likely sooner in getting your feet and socks wet compared to a mid or high top sneaker.

I believe Terrex could have been included there. I love my waterproof boots, they got me through the Dublin rain and that's definitely not an easy feat

Anyone with even the slightest experience with serious rain or other wet conditions can tell you that if there is one thing that serves almost no purpose, it's (very) low cut waterproof/Gore-Tex shoes. No point in waterproofing the shoe if the water can just come in at the collar.

As a delivery driver I can promise you low cut shoes with waterproof is amazing. Yes if you are standing in the rain then yes water will get in but at minimal. I have been using nike winflo/pegasus shield shoes for 5 yrs and it awesome to not have wet feet bc I stepped in a puddle in a parking lot. So yes there is definitely a reason for short cut waterproof shoes.

I have a pair of Air Max 90 Goretex but I won't recommend it. Yes it's waterproof, but ankles are widely exposed and water gets in easily in a heavy rain.
