Dear viewers and subscribers, I read your comments and came to the conclusion that it is necessary to reconsider your point of view and release a new version. This top I did almost 4 years ago, during this time I managed to enter the College of music, and gain knowledge for an objective judgment of the acts of a composer. New version coming soon:) (not soon) Now you can watch the my new videos: My composition for the composers competition - Violin Sonata in E minor: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/md-Kf7KWtt28g40.html History and music - Part I (from the origins to the medieval) kzfaq.info/get/bejne/q5abZ9ihv7bUpY0.html Please, wait!

Liszt is the best composer and most influential in my opinion: like Beethoven was the famous transition between classical and romantic, why isn’t Liszt equally famous as the transition between romantic and modern? Early and late Liszt seem like they are from different composers!
@paulsheehan50875 жыл бұрын
Franz Liszt-Chopin Liszt wasn’t influential. He wrote crowd pleasers that sound great but never lead the music to a new place. He followed others. Even Liszt himself didn’t think he was worthy to touch Beethoven’s piano.

Clash with Theo Maybe. This movie has just made me interested of the relationship between Mozart and Salieri, so I make research and that makes me likes these two composers. But the real thing that makes me love them, is the French musical Mozart l'Opéra Rock. Sorry for my very bad English I'm French (>_

Telemann higher than Sibelius?
@richardgarrard83445 жыл бұрын
@Judith Devaux I completely accept that Telemann is a prolific composer; there is no denying that. However, I feel that Sibelius is far more captivating than Telemann. It's not that I despise Telemann; simply, I find Sibelius to be a more favourable composer.

How is Bruckner at 62 and Sibelius at 68? Also, with Holst in the 90's?! And not only was Shostakovich spelled incorrectly, how is he only 49? And not to mention Rachmaninoff, Shostakovich, Dukas, Holst, Sibelius, and Bruckner are better than Guido d'Arezzo.

Everybody is entitled to his or her opinion. On mine, I believe composers like Bruch, Rodrigo, Vives and several others are “ahead” of Kilar, Von Bingen and Cage, without being disrespectful to the latests. Cage was a mockery to music. Haydn, the father of the symphony rated 16… ???

I guess it's down to personal taste, but Schubert deserves more than 13. Definitely top 5.

That's because Gounod's Ave Maria uses the melody of Bach's prelude.
