Every since I came across this channel I haven't been able to stop watching. Literally almost every device I own has been running your vids non-stop in all areas of my home. I'm a single father who loves the outdoors and cooking with my son & with the simplicity of ingredients and methods used really lends itself to the style of culinary I want to teach my boy. Then if that's a $1000 steak based off taste, my steaks are $10,000+. Not only do they taste amazing, but they're actual quality portions with marbling and fat. This steak is like $15 tops at a market in USD, cheap cut, no fat, no marbling, no flavour. That kind of meat is meant for slow cookers or meals like stew, something where many other flavours pile up and cook for hours under low heat.

soccerjonesy You may be right. I’m not a steak professional but personally, I find fatty meats unappetizing. I hate the taste of animal fat. What’s yummy and what’s not is a preference after all.. some like their meat lean, some do not.. it’s just a title anyways; that’s not the point of the video

I really like when other languages are spoken in English. It translates differently and shows another way to speak other than the way we think a lot of the times, like when he says, "Do you want to cook this dish by yourself" it doesn't mean, "alone" like the way we normally think of, "by yourself". It's pretty awesome.

Considering the exchange rate is 100:1 1000RSD = 10USD, and I highly doubt they made a video about a 10 dollar steak. So either they lied about the cost of the steak or meat is insanely cheap in Serbia. You decide.

Another perfect video. The vegetables were cooked beautifully and that meat was cooked to perfection......just the way I like it. When you cut off that first slice, which is always my favorite piece, I wished so badly that I could reach through the screen and grab it for just a little taste, how else could I get a taste of this rare veal from Rtanj Mountain lol. I just watched another video, because one Almazan video is never enough, and you chopped the meat with your two knives and then shaped it into a pyramid like you always do which also happens to be the shape of your mysterious Rtanj Mountain. You can tell you didn’t let that steak rest long enough. When you cut into it, all the juices went straight to the cutting board and the steak looked dried out.

He says that it's "incredibly rare" Siberian veal. Any kind of veal has little to no marbling. Even ordinary veal is generally more expensive than a comparable piece of beef, and the scarcity would raise the price further. It doesn't look like something I'd pay $1,000 for either, but people like the members of the Explorer's Club pay big money to eat rare and unique foods because they're a once in a lifetime experience rather than for their flavor. Of course, as many have suggested, he may not mean a thousand dollars literally.
