In this video, we will explore the twelve tribes of Ishmael, investigating their ancient locations and identities. This will allow us to delve into the fascinating history of the Ishmaelites within the complex context of the ancient Middle East. The Ishmaelites, descendants of Ishmael, the firstborn of Abraham and Hagar, played an intriguing role in biblical narratives. Despite sharing a common lineage with the Israelites, the Ishmaelites rarely enjoyed extended periods of peace and often found themselves in direct conflict with the children of Israel, as described in the Bible. Therefore, understanding the identity of the Ishmaelites is crucial to deciphering the dynamics of Israelite history.
After leaving Abraham's household, Ishmael settled in the desert of Paran and married an Egyptian woman. His offspring gave rise to twelve Ishmaelite tribes leading a nomadic life in the Arabian Peninsula. The Ishmaelites also intermingled with other descendants of Abraham, such as the Midianites and Edomites. Due to the complex interactions and mixtures among the peoples of the ancient Near East, precisely tracking the fate of the Ishmaelites in history is a challenge. However, many Arabs still claim to be direct descendants of Abraham through Ishmael, maintaining an ancestral connection that spans centuries. The region of the ancient Middle East is undoubtedly one of the most captivating areas in the world, especially for those with a deep interest in sacred scriptures and the history of the people who inhabited it, including Arabs and Jews, alongside various other cultures that shared this region. Join us to explore The 12 Tribes of Ishmael and discover what has not been widely known about them.

The twelve tribes come from Isaac. his son Jacob, also known as “Israel”. (Genesis 35:10 “And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel.”) From Jacob came the 12 tribes of Israel. also listed in the book of Revelations. Abrahams brother Nahor also had 12 sons. These settled in Syria. One son, Maacah settled on the northern border of what later became the nation of Israel (called Abdel Maacah) and may be the source of the name "Bekka" Valley in southern Lebanon. The pronunciation change of Maacah to Bekka is similar to the different semitic dialectic changes just as Abraham can also be Avraham, Ibraham and Ibrahim depending its usage in Canaanite, Hebrew, Aramaic-Syriac or Arabic.

Most complex and fascinating family tree in history - and sibling rivalry for that matter. I enjoy learning about the family but it took an entire garage floor to sort out a family tree I could “see” I have mind that learns differently so a seeable family tree became necessary to categorically each peoples offspring. Imagine we all had families like this today. Family reunions would be so massive you’d need a small country to host them.

But Isaac is the son of the promise. Ishmael is the son of the flesh. Both were blessed, but had difference promises. Likewise the sons of Lot where not the sons of virtue. The children from Abraham and Katura were a different people altogether. All these people occupied similar lands and common lands, but had different cultures. All these people mentioned above have Abraham and Sarah's family line through Lot according to Josephus as her brother,or as Lot being Abraham's nephew. Either way, Abraham's lineage is in all these peoples, but only Issac was of a covenant, the son of promise through which Abraham's descendants would bring the redeemer in his one seed, The Messiah

Tito, we are all same family if you will. Ethnically they are different, Persians and Arabs. Same part of the worlds, since civilization as we know it has it's origins in the savant and Mesopotamia. Some of these peoples remained in the lands where they originated over 4000 years ago. Abraham is 2000 BC. Islam is from 600 AD. Same area of the world. The Christian crusades were around 1000 to 1300 AD with the final expulsion of the Muslim moors from Europe after 1492, but with the fall of the Eastern Church on mid 1500's to the Ottoman Muslim empire until shortly after WWI. where these lands were under Ottoman Control. It's not so much about brotherly tribes as it is about whose land is it. It was the Brits until the end of WWII@@DzekoTV401

Speaking of the nation of Israel, Deuteronomy 7:7-9 tells us, “The LORD did not set His affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples. But it was because the LORD loved you and kept the oath He swore to your forefathers that He brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; He is the faithful God, keeping His covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commands.” God chose the nation of Israel to be the people through whom Jesus Christ would be born-the Savior from sin and death (John 3:16). God first promised the Messiah after Adam and Eve’s fall into sin (Genesis chapter 3). God later confirmed that the Messiah would come from the line of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Genesis 12:1-3). Jesus Christ is the ultimate reason why God chose Israel to be His special people. God did not need to have a chosen people, but He decided to do it that way. Jesus had to come from some nation of people, and God chose Israel. However, God’s reason for choosing the nation of Israel was not solely for the purpose of producing the Messiah. God’s desire for Israel was that they would go and teach others about Him. Israel was to be a nation of priests, prophets, and missionaries to the world. God’s intent was for Israel to be a distinct people, a nation who pointed others towards God and His promised provision of a Redeemer, Messiah, and Savior. For the most part, Israel failed in this task. However, God’s ultimate purpose for Israel-that of bringing the Messiah into the world-was fulfilled perfectly in the Person of Jesus Christ.

Most people don't know that there is a prophecy in the Old Testament that the sons of Ishmael will come to know Christ. It has yet to be completely fulfilled: "All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together to you, The rams of Nebaioth shall minister to you; They shall ascend with acceptance on My altar, And I will glorify the house of My glory." Isaiah 60:7 God had planned from the very beginning that both sons of Abraham, Ishmael and Isaac, would be fathers of great nations, and that their descendants would, through the glory of Messiah, come to the God of Zion. As you point out, Nebaioth and Kedar are the firstborn sons of Ishmael. This prophecy is coming true today as Christ appears to many Muslims in Saudi Arabia and other countries in that region in dreams and visions.

Man is created to praise, reverence, and serve God our Lord, and by this means to save his soul. And the other things on the face of the earth are created for man and that they may help him in prosecuting the end for which he is created. From this it follows that man is to use them as much as they help him on to his end, and ought to rid himself of them so far as they hinder him as to it. For this it is necessary to make ourselves indifferent to all created things in all that is allowed to the choice of our free will and is not prohibited to it; so that, on our part, we want not health rather than sickness, riches rather than poverty, honor rather than dishonor, long rather than short life, and so in all the rest; desiring and choosing only what is most conducive for us to the end for which we are created

This is confusing to me. From my reading it is Sarah whose long for a child led to her giving over of Hagar to Abraham. I did not read that Abraham has desire for Hagar but Sarah mistakenly thought that if Hagar had a child that child would become hers. It was her hard lesson to learn that another woman's child would not necessarily become hers. Aslo of course her disbelief that God would provide her with a child.

Isaac's name in Hebrew was not Ick or however you spelled it. Isaac in Hebrew is Yitzhaq. It meant laughter. Like a mocking laughter. When YHWH TSEVA'OTH told Avraham (Abraham) that his wife Sarah would bear him a son in her old age, Sarah overheard YHWH EL SHADDAI and she laughed like it was some kind of joke. That's where Yitzhaq ( Isaac ) got his name from. HalleluYAH forever and ever!!! YAH bless!!!!

Ishmaelites and Israelites, two men at odds with one another and founded the two nations that would continue their rivalry, when will it end? Abraham is noted because of his faith in God and his promises, so where did he get side tracked? I think Sara was much more desparate to have a child than Abraham and understandibly so and this may well be the reason she referred her husband Abraham to Hagar and hence the rivalry between their descendants, faith or lack of faith, God now had some patchwork to do.

Shabbat Shalom, I am having a problem with understanding and I would very much appreciate guidance on this topic. I came to believe non-Biblical sources can be used to support the Bible, such as 3 historians around the time of Yahshua wrote about him, so we can verify he not only was real but these sources also confirm he was execute under Roman law. However, both this channel and other channels that have covered Biblical topics they are using the Bible to support non-Biblical sources, such as the Bible names a descendant of Noah, Nimrod and touches upon what he did, now there are non-Biblical sources that also speak of Nimrod but these non-Biblical sources go way beyond the scope of Nimrod's life not found in the Bible such as the name of his wife and son. Now just because these sources may have been around for centuries does not give them validity of truth, it could be fanfiction of the time or an historians misinterpretation of certain events. Example many Bible scholars quote Hyslop's "Two Babylons" as evidence of Nimrod's wife being named Semiramus and son being Tamuz, except the archaeological evidence does not support this. It came from their being a queen named Semiramus who had come to be worshiped. The problem is the timeline the actual queen came centuries after the time of Nimrod, it can only be suggested and this is when speculation is passed off as if fact that the queen Semiramus was named after Nimrod's wife so that would make Nimrod's wife name Semiramus despite their is zero evidence. It is circular reasoning. In short how should I accept Biblical understanding from non-Biblical sources that cannot be tested using the Bible. Again referring again to Hyslop's "The Two Babylons" almost all of the points he makes in his book where he uses non-canonical sources to prove his views can be made using the Bible alone and has no need to draw from non-canonical sources that cannot even be verified or are only based on theories and conjectures. I mean the Bible explains the origins of false religion including what is known as mystery Babylon and even the role it would play in the ecclesia of Yahshua once it is replaced by Catholic Christianity. If and I stress if the non-canonical sources turned out to be true that would only act as a parenthetical to what the Bible already says. In short how can viewers test if non-canonical sources which may be true are Biblical which we know are true and should we accept the information from non-canonical sources as being true just because a name or event may be mentioned in the Bible. Thank you

You are on the right track. The Bible should be considered a stand-alone and does not require outside validation. There are many extra-Biblical sources that can add context to the Bible, but none are required to validate the Bible. On the other hand, even the sources mentioned directly by the Bible (Jasher, Enoch, etc.) should not be included in the Bible. While parts of these texts may be inspired, specifically the parts quoted in the Bible, there is nothing to suggest the entire works are inspired. Even Enoch said God would write books out of which He would judge man, but his book would not be one of them. I have read many of the ancient Hebrew texts and believe many of these writings to be inspired but none of them add anything to God's plan of salvation. Just as Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light, wolves also use twist and add to the truth to appear as sheep. There is no need to debunk every tidbit of false doctrine or teaching; only to stand on the truth of God's Word and allow the Holy Spirit to confirm it in people's heart. For more on this topic, No King But Caesar & The Return Of The Melchisedec is available online at Advantage Books. Peace to all.

In fact, all of them are settled in Saudi Arabia. They are the Saudis themselves, and some of them immigrated with the Islamic conquests in the seventh to the fifteenth century AD. Some of them migrated to North Africa, such as the Salim and Hilal tribes, and some of them did not immigrate from their homes, and they are Saudis. All of the Arabian Peninsula, and in particular the Saudis, have a different interconnected society and are very much in common genetically. In 4000 years, according to the Family Tree DNA website, the rate is 80%. By the way, Arabs are the people who preserve their lineage the most. For example, I can mention my lineage back to my fifteenth grandfather or more until I reach a common ancestor with another tribe, and so on. There are thousands of books that detail the genealogy of Arab tribes from Umayyad era 7th to present

Many people do not know that the term Hebrew has nothing to do with ethnicity. Everyone who crossed a river or a piece of land was called Hebrew. It comes from the Arabic root for crossing a distance! Abraham, Sarah and Lot were called Hebrew s because the crossed land or a river. That doesn’t mean their descendants also inherit that title. There were many Hebrews at time who had nothing to do with each other.

Everyone seems to forget that the Jews showed they were very disobedient people by mocking the Lord after being saved from bondage in Egypt. Instead of giving thanks, they created the golden calf as their god. That was the end of deal. It’s like breaking the tenants agreement before taking occupation of a home.
