If you use an arc subclass or arc super on prismatic , you can run elemental capacitor on the someday instead of threat detector and always have 100 handling with 90+ range

Rose i have surpringly dropped my rap/explosive rose and im using rap hit/eye of storm it just makes it easier to stay on target with my controller sticks losing their stiffness

As someone who basically mains Dead Man's Tale in PvP with a controller it is great, it did take me a bit of practice to get a grip on the hipfire. Also I believe they adjusted Rat King's recoil type to make it more like Rapid Frame Sidearms 🤔 I could be wrong

This list is great for newer players, but I’d like to add a couple of weapons: - Luna’s Howl from either onslaught or the keyosk slaps hard, maghowl absolutely chunks and there is zero recoil - Abyss Defiant has been a great weapon, it maps people and zen gives it no recoil, swashbuckler is a great perk on stasis warlock or knockout titan - Revision Zero (hear me out) is a stat monster, the two burst goes crazy, and the sniper win condition has crazy aim assist. It’s been my sleeper pick recently.

Another one that I recommend is the pulse rifle Relentless from the prophecy dungeon, that thing destroys with any rolls and it's not hard to get

Really good takes on all of these, just missing a few weapons imo: Thorn, Mercurial overreach and defiance of yasmin (though I see why you wouldnt include snipers given the current meta), Forerunner (it now 3taps any resil again), Midhas reckoning with backup plan (i think the stasis high impact from trials is just as good), BXR with snapshot+BER, kept confidence and nation of beasts (best energy 140 as far as I know) Edit: And the crota autorifle was really good last time i checked

Not mentioning blast furnace is wild. I have the god roll (headseeker, rapid hit) And it just feels so so good. There's no recoil it has like 90 range so it's really good at long ranges. You can two tap with enough stacks of rapid hit and it's very easy to get high stacks because each bullet counts so one burst to someone's head and you instantly have times four stacks. It's very very slept on it just feels incredible in PvP. Obviously depends on the maps but I would say on more open maps it's one of the best in the game right now I would seriously recommend trying it.

Not even mentioning opening shot on igneous is crazy.

The riposte feels really good as well.

Thorn and Ace are my favorite HC super good in pvp

Do I need 100 resilience? How do I develop game sense? What modes should I be playing for the best XP, etc

Love what they've done to Rat king ❤🔫, I run it with Elsie's GR shiny zen Frenzy KC headseeker fully enhanced for log ranges or my positive outlook, enhanced zen KC, oversoul edict . For my under average ass they do me good 👍🏻

This might be a dumb question I have the pvp god roll of the messenger from my first ever trials run that I got when I went to the lighthouse. it has corkscrew rifling, high caliber rounds, rapid hit, and desperado. would you consider this a good weapon still? its a 340 with 40 in the mag and a stability masterwork.

You should try Trespasser. I used it because I needed sidearm kills for the Pathfinder and it was the first one I saw in my vault. It was actually surprising how good it felt in pvp. Most sidearms on mouse and keyboard are just terrible but the recoil animation on Trespasser lets you actually see your target for the burst and the aim assist works properly. And getting a kill and reloading grants a super burst for nine seconds. The super burst can one burst to surprising ranges and getting a kill with it reloads the weapon and activates another super burst.

i think missing mercurial/beloved or whatever you consider to be the best sniper along with heliocentric qsc is a problem but then again not everyone snipes and helio is hard to farm a good roll and hard to use without a sniper

I think a weapon everyone is sleeping on are the new Heavy Burst Pulses which is the Aisha's Care and to a lesser the upcoming Corrasion. It's essentially a handcannon with pulse rifle range. It has a .87 ttk which is a three burst and one of those shots can be a body shot. The burst happens incredibly fast so you can treat it like a handcannon in terms of peek shooting unlike other pulse alternatives that make you commit too hard like rapid-fires and lightweights. Since it has a fast fire rate too, it's not as punished as a high-impact if you miss a burst. I know everyone loves high-impacts but it has a twilight zone between mid and close where you can't quite reach with a shotgun and have to use the rifle where missing a burst or not hitting the 2 burst will almost certainly lose you the fight. The only downsides is that its team shooting capabilities are bad compared to 120 HC's or High Impact pulses; but the ease of use on it is unmatched. My recommended rolls on Aisha's is either Keep Away/Zen Moment in Column 3 and then Moving Target/Headseeker in Column 4.

I have an old adept shayura's with kill clip + tunnel vision that just deletes people in 6s. Not as great in 3s but i normally dont run smgs there anyway.

Pretty sure I ran a trials match with you this past weekend I was on your team we won.

I would add a couple of weapons to this list and those weapons would be pulse riffles. After they buffed them they feels to good to use. As a no brainier example I would give u Graviton Lance this thing slaps so hard, last weeks banner fall trials proved that. I went like 4 times flawless and am not full time player or streamer. 2 I would like to give shout out to rapid fire frame pulses. If u have crafted Different Times u are winner, I melted a lot of players whit it. Same goes for Autumn Wind but it’s weeker then Different Times but also good, depends on ur build. The one that’s on a look out would be Iron Banners void pulse

Why isn’t rangefinder considered a godroll perk anymore? I have rose with slideshot and rangefinder and igneous hammer adept with quickdraw and rangefinder. Did rangefinder get a nerf sometime in the recent past? Because I just got back into destiny and the last time I played was for witch queen and I skipped playing lightfall, so it’s been well over a year since I played.
