This was a nice general overview of those castles - but the narrator's pronunciation of the castles' names was horrendous (except Neuschwanstein; that one, for some reason, was perfect).

You better visit other castles with actual history, Neuschwanstein does not really have any. I suggest Hohenzollern, the treasury is mind blowing, hosts millions if not billions worth of gold relics.

Most of them are beautiful but idk the Wartburg castle looks like a McMansion because the renovations of the newer structures don't match the original buildings and idk why anyone would do that. If you are going to add on, use the same architecture

They could turn the towers into water towers and have indoor plumbing without the need to put up a traditional water tower (that would change the panoramic views)

Neuschwanstein is amazing, but it is not a 'real' castle (i.e. built for defence). It is a 19th Century gothic folly royal palace, still unfinished.

noooo!!! Neuschwanstein is not a castle!!!!!! its a palace. Schloss Neuschwanstein >> Schloss means palace. a burg is a castle not a schloss. a castle is per definition a fortified residense. Neuschwanstein is not fortified. when it was build cannons where already invented. meaning that fortifications where big bulky earthworks in a starfort shape not thin, tall walls with machiculations!!! do your research!!!!!!

"Castle" can mean both, "Burg" or "Schloss". "Palace" can mean both "Schloss" or "Palast". And the line between "Burg" and "Schloss" is as blurry as the line between "Schloss" and "Palast".

Correct, it was built way after actual functional castles become useless. Still, looks like a fantasy castle, like disneyland or something like that.

It´s a shame you did not even attempt to pronounce the names correctly. You managed to mispronounbce the name beyond recognition! Btw, Heidelberg Castle was destroyed by French troops during the Napoleonic wars.
