Bro, Spider Man 2 should have been higher then Hogwarts Legacy, Returnal, Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart, Astro's Playroom, GT7, Horizon Forbidden West, Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty, Steller Blade, Helldivers 2, GOT Director's Cut, and Death Stranding Director's Cut. BG 3 should have been higher. I expected at least top 3. This list got the right amount of games but the order of ranking is a mess

@@Nine5VaderPlayStation has no games coming out until 2025. Xbox Showcase is June 9th. Xbox has multiple exclusive this year. Stalker 2, Indiana Jones, Avowed. The PlayStation exclusives are all the same garbage. Xbox is dominating PlayStation.

Love all these except for 2 & 3. I'm not a Harry Potter fan nor anime fan. Also, I love astro, that game was the best for me. It was the first to actually show the dualsense features. And I just finish ratchet and clank rift apart not too long ago, it was pretty good. I like it better than the PS4 game and it's the only ratchet game I finished

I get the feeling size does matter when it comes to what the best PS5 game is. No consideration for pacing, just if it's big and beautiful it's GOTY worthy.

So far I have Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart , Spider-Man 2, and Ghost of Tsushima. Ghost of Tsushima is one of my downloads via PS+ and the first two are my physical discs. I have yet to get Elden Ring and Stellar Blade.

I have all but seven of these games, and believe me when I say this is a good list. The ones I don't have aren't for me. The only one I didn't like and ended up giving it away was Returnal. I didn't like playing a new play through every time I died. I made it until the machines part and wanted to snap the disk. One more game I would have added would have been Ghostrunner. Hotline Miami in first person.

It always amuses me when one of these lists are made and people don’t get the point. It’s not just for first party games or games just released for the PS5. If it has a PS5 version it counts. Pretty simple really. Doesn’t matter what other platforms it’s released for. Anyway my absolute favourites have been GT7, Spider-man 2, TLOU Part I and Part II remastered. Love all those games to bits, but I think this list is really solid. Special mentions to Pacific Drive RE7/RE Village and Granblue Fantasy Relink.

Madison VR, RE4 &8, Star Wars Tales from the Galaxies Edge, GT7, Synapse, Red Matter1&2, The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners 1&2, Moss Book 1&2, No Mans Sky, The Light Brigade. All available through PSVR2. Honorable mentions Pavlov VR, Breachers, Hellsweeper, FNAF1&2, Legedary Tales, Horizon Call of the Mountain, Ancient Dungeons, Puzzling Places, Beat Sabar, Walkabout Mini Golf, UltraWings2, Genotype, Vertigo2, Hubris, Switchback VR, Kayak VR, Pistol Whip, Ancient Dungeons, Song in the Smoke Rekindled, Vampire Justice League, Crisis Vrigade, Ovrdark, Propagation Paradise Hotel, and Ghost signal. Any of which could be subsituted in my top 10. Whoever says theres no games for this great accessory is surely mistaken, over 200 since launch.

A lot of the list was multiplats and remakes so you add those same multiplats plus forza, halo, psychonauts, forza horizon, hive busters, starfield, hi fi rush, sea of thieves, grounded and then some of the indies. Fanboying is fine but just playing good games on all consoles is better

@@MarcusSaleh Yes it is. Rebirth has a much more expansive world, cast of characters, far better music, build customizations, less padding. Much more charm, heck the only thing Ragnarok *does* have over Rebirth is that one thor fight. *Possibly* story & main protag. It's overall such an outclass this is not even a fair comparison. Oh hey, would i rather go to the legendary gilded paradise of the Gold Saucer where i get tons of fun & replay value, or slow walking sims in the jungle wih Angrboda? Like cmooon man i love God of War don't make me talk about it like this again. It is inferior to Rebirth & that is completely fine.

@@IdkAkaIdk Ragnarok definitely gets cast of characters, Final fantasy might be more ''Iconic'' and older but kratos character development and emotion is far more pleasing and astounding than anything in final fantasy. I kid you not I tried playing final fantasy 16 and I couldn't even get past 1 hour. For rebirth I surprisingly got 80% through the game but every time I wanted to finish it I couldn't I've literally replayed Ragnarok 8 times because it's so fucking good the story is better, the protagonist, the villains, the characters, The music is definitely better than Rebirth I don't care about charm god of war isn't a charm game that's a horrible comparison and I don't know what you mean by padding could you explain that to me?

@@MarcusSaleh Ragnarok does not get cast of characters. Neither playable or overall. Some in Ragnarok are strong but they're much more limited. If you're trying to compare the story then that's ultimately silly given the Remake trilogy's story isn't fully told yet. Even so, Ragnaroks story is nothing mindblowing-ohhh god

You should start with these 4 games. 1. God of War (2018) 2. The Last of Us Part 1 3. Red Dead Redemption 2 4. Spider-Man Remastered Four of my favorite games of all time. (Ik these aren’t ps5 game but you can use ps4 games on ps5 👍)

Out of all the games on the list, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is the only one that's "Exclusive" to the PS5. Everything else is also on either PS4, PC, or something not a Sony console.

Can't tell what it is, but after experiencing basically all of these games on my PlayStation 5 while majority are on ps plus, there's really nothing to play anymore and PlayStation 5 is stale. Once you play all exclusives what is there really to play?

Stellar Blade wasn't all that stellar to me. Astro's Playroom was a cute little game, but I dont think it deserves a spot on the best ps5 games. It's a glorified tec demo. Can't wait to play Baldur's Gate 3, didn't pick it up on launch because I had so much on my back log to begin with. That and the fact that only in Japan was there a physical release of the game.

Spiderman 2 had a budget of 300 million and that's not even counting the marketing. Super Mario Bros Wonder came out on the same day, probably had a much smaller budget and still sold a lot more and is still selling super well. If that doesn't show the poor state of Sony and the success of Nintendo then I don't know what does

I have played 6 games out of this list of 20. However out of those 6 I have played 5 of these in my older PS4 console which means there are no such good games made for the next gen console as of now. Only to play Alan wake 2 I purchased a PS5. According to me the PS5 doesn't have a good game library. Do let me know what you guys think?

There's a huge problem when you make a top 20 list and nearly 25% are remakes, and several of the remaining are known to be bad games. With the free tech demo to showcase the new console is in the top 5, don't get me wrong, Astro is a top 5 game on ps5, just shows how poor the developers have been this generation, very few people even trying to utilise the console
