These "God of War" bosses show killing mytholgical figures doesn't come easy. For this list, we’ll be looking at the bosses that posed the greatest threats to the God of War in both the Greek and Norse realms. Our list of the hardest "God of War" bosses includes The Crimson Dread from “God of War Ragnarok” (2022), Charon from “God of War: Chains of Olympus” (2008), Sigrun from “God of War” (2018), the Sisters of Fate from “God of War II” (2007), and more! true. Even after several ng+ with op builds the trio berserkers still had me defeating them in 3-5 tries. The real hardtime was before ng+ came out, took me like 17 attempts to finally defeat the trio berserkers😂

definitely agree with this but out of the 2 Valkyries i do feel Sigrun was harder even on story difficulty it took me 20+ tries to take her down and Gna took me maybe 5 or 6 times but I do feel cause of all the new stuff they added to Ragnarök that made her fight a little easier

ZEUS in GOW 3 is hard as hell especially on the higher difficulties but you can cheese the fight by using the nemesis whip grab over and over which prevents him from cloning himself

@@oukeith it’s weird because you fight 2 Cerberus before you fight hades easy peasy no problem, but then you have this final beefed up tank Cerberus with those annoying hook guys 😩 died at least 15 times

@Dillydabs it's hard AF I usually use the hades magic where you spawn the gorgon you can turn one of those sentries into stone makes the fight a little bit easier but it's still hard.

@Dillydabs The “Annoying hook guys” are annoying Satyrs with their annoying hook spears! 🙄 You have to make a choice do you want three Satyrs on your back while the Cerberus is still alive?!? I rush to kill the first Satyr then I kill the Cerberus then there’s only one or 2 Satyrs left to focus on but you still have to be careful ( block, dodge and counterattack!) because by this time you have no magic left! You might get some magic back by killing one of the Satyrs to make one magic attack against the last one or if your Rage of Sparta meter is half Full it might just be enough to finish him off! However just barely. 🤨🙄

My singular issue with maven the librarian is that she’s not only that hard but is also the only boss that locks you out of the rest of the game that I’m aware of. And she’s an optional boss that comes out of literally no where. Loads of bosses prevent you from progressing but she locks you in one room you can’t leave at all. Fortunately I guess most people could escape by turning it down to easy but what if you’re not good enough for that? I escaped her in like two tries but feel bad for the people I heard got stuck

That is interesting, the opposite was the case for me. Sigrun is hard as hell cos I never figured out how to dodge her Valhalla attack. Gna wasn't so bad, I killed the berserker king in a few tries.

I took down King Hrolf first try on the easiest difficulty without even a resurrection stone. I tried Gna a few times and got three hit easily. Safe to say I used a glitch for her and she easily takes the crown over the King.

I said before that who ever came up with this at the developers office needs an ass whooping for thinking she should be that strong.

Crazy to me that Sigrun is not number 1. Gna was chump change compared to her, same with the berserkers and their king. Beat him on my second try and only not the first cuz I made one wrong move. Sigrun and the Valkyries on the other hand tossed me around like a ragdoll more times than I can count

I agree. I could not defeat sigrun on the highest difficulty 😢 but the rest that you mentioned were challenging but not impossible to beat on the highest difficulty.

It took me 2 weeks to beat Sigrun, I remember yelling at 1:30am after finally beating her and my parents were full telling me to shut the fuck up 😂 Gna and the king took me no more than 5 tries each, if you master the parry’s you’ll destroy

I played Ragnarok at high difficulty right from the beginning at my first time. I was confident. But once I got to the damn librarian ... I could not beat him. I was able to get him to 99% down and he killed me, so I changed difficulty. Then I discovered the three berserkers and king berserker and gna. I am not able to defeat this at high difficulty, I'd admit that even with average I was loosing multiple times but some armors would be helpful if I use them.

I don't remember much old bosses from previous GOW titles before 2018 (yet never skipped any part), but from the new ones, I'd say the hardest ones for me were 1. Sigrun (2018) 2. Gna (Ragnarok) 3. Berserker king 4. 3 Berserkers in the Alfheim 5. Heimdal ( not seriously that hard, but just an irritating pain in the ...,)

I'd put the Berserker King at 3, Gna at 2, and Sigrun at 1, I died dozens of times against Sigrun, I beat Gna on the second try, and I didn't die to the Berserker King even once.

I would say it is subjective, my order would be sigrun-hrolf-Gna, Gna was leagues easier for me, I guess it is ur style which determine which is which

U must have never fought GNA, literally she's Sigrun 10x harder. it took me almost 24 hours just to beat her & Sigrun took me like 2 hours, plus I was on the hardest difficulty both times & a little lower leveled so maybe that's why, but Sigrun was easy once u found the strategy, but for GNA, she had a lot of unpredictable moves that could kill u in 2 hits.

Don’t get me wrong Sigrun is hard but she gets easier once u figure her patterns. GNA’s patterns are way harder to read on the hardest difficulty since she can switch the timing to her moves & some of the moves have similar animations which makes it harder to read.

The Berseker Trio had me re-evaluate my strategy, I abandoned the fight to rank up my armour and subsequently came back with the spear after Heimdall's fight but GNÁ oh my f### I almost gave up that fight completely after 3 solid days

A lot of the bosses weren't really hard, but annoying some of the bosses I beat 1st or 2nd try others did take longer, and the main hardest was Baldur and Valkyrie Queens

honestly I feel Sigrun is the hardest boss of all time in GOW I have taken out all bosses on the story difficulty and she is the only one I died on 20+ times and just recently was able to go back and defeat her the Valkyrie from Ragnarök and the berserk king I may have died no more then 5 times so I do feel Sigrun should be number 1

“After escaping the underworld so many times, Hades must have been tired of himself looking bad because of Kratos getting out.” Well, also, Kratos did kill a lot of his family; His wife Persephone, his Niece, Athena and Nephew Ares, Recently killed his brother, Posieden. He literally says in the boss fight a lot of sins that are reasons Hades will kill him.

Did you know you don't have to constantly keep moving? When you find a section that has no spikes coming, you can take a breather there, you won't get damaged by being pulled into the crevice

The only GoW game I played on God mode was GoW 1 (2005) and I couldn't beat the Kratos clones at the very end when I was a kid. Very frustrating. So that would be the hardest "boss" fight for me.

Y'all wrong, Sigrun was way harder, by far. (Her battle was also much longer, both Ragnarok bosses took about 3-4 minutes each, while Sigrun took about 7-8 minutes that felt like forever)

Tripping. Sigun was hard but GNA had a lot of unpredictable moves while Sigrun's moves were more noticeable. GNA was def harder for me especially beating & getting both games Platinum on the hardest difficulty & I beat Sigrun multiple times, but GNA was 10x harder for me IMO.

Took me 200+ tries for the berserkers with 50+ only for the King! And than i went to Gna and beated her on the second try...

Sigrun was hardest for me made me go all Thanos and get the gauntlet of ages with the infinity stones just to beat her

@@loraleaburton6298 smart choice the slow time effect and the added projectile helps out a lot. Even on the lowest and highest difficulty.

I really dont know how the cerberus from god of war 3 isnt here. For me its easily the hardest boss of all time. You almost need luck to a certain extent to win, i mean my God!!

I just thought about it nidhogg death was kinda pointless cause if she was retreating to get away from kratos and freya then freya could had freed herself from the curse odin put on her without trouble since nidhogg can most likely tell who distribing the roots
