I don't really care for Cadillac that much but one thing I absolutely love about this car that it doesn't have one of those stuck on screen infotainment systems I like the fact this one here is fully integrated into the dashboard and makes it look like Cadillac Engineers really took the time out to design the car and the infotainment system properly.

I bought a 2016 Cadillac CT6 with the Premium Luxury Package 2 months ago and it really is an AMAZING car. 😍😍 I LOVE everything about it and I know the one in the vid is a 2018 but despite a few minor differences it’s pretty much the same car imo. -Oh yeah, and Doug is the type of guy to lick his finger while flipping a page on an iPad.-

As a director for Cadillac for the last six years, the reason you can turn that mirror off is because it can give you motion sickness because it does me and I turn it off when I drive the vehicles but it’s absolutely night vision I use it at night to see a bigger picture

I bought my 2018 Cadillac CT6 brand new with the 3.0TT and supercruise and it's the best car I've ever owned. Mine is pearl white the cinnamon leather and carbon fiber interior. The supercruise is a game-changer -- the car's handling and power are the icing on the cake.

Cadillac needs to start using higher quality materials. I have seen quite a few Cadillacs from the inside and even 2 year old cars already look older than they really are. The leather seats already had creases in them, the steering wheel looked really used. Not to mention the cheap plastics.

Good review, but you misrepresented the rear view camera mirror. You said that toggle is to turn off the mirror and kinda made fun of it, but it’s actually an option to revert back to a normal mirror. IMO that’s amazing to have both options 👍🏼

Doug made a point to take about the rear sunshade going down when in reverse and then back up when returned to drive. My 2011 Avalon Limited and my 2015 Genesis 3.8AWD both have this feature. Most cars with rear sunshades do this.

Had this for a month when my car was in the shop.. the night vision was the most epic feature

I WANT THAT! The camera washers, 3 different modes of scrolling/selecting, camera mirror, and self driving mode are pretty neat additions. I know self driving doesn't work everywhere, but as someone who goes on many family vacations, having the option of your car doing the driving on the interstate and major highways is a God-send. Driving long hours even with cruise control is tiring, believe me. Also, the mirror switch is for those who don't like the camera or have broken their rearview camera somehow. You can legally drive without one (as long as the two side mirrors work), but future laws might make it illegal. It would also be unsafe to drive without a functioning rearview mirror, especially for new drivers.

While a washer for your rear back up cameras are nice, I'd like a little nozzle that also blasts it with air because there are times when it's been particularly heavy with rain and you go to reverse and the camera is covered in water... a quick airblast would fix that.

Doug the volume option for the chime is probably not at 0 because the chime is always hear able to the driver. I have no idea why 15 but that probably why it’s not 0.

Awesome review. This is the exact car that I leased , ( although unfortunately I didn't get the supercruise ) , but you reviewed and explained this car better than the salesman did ... I absolutely love the rear view mirror camera . I keep a child seat in the middle in the back and I routinely simply just switch the camera off to check on my son now and then . Also in rainy or even snowy weather , that mirror cam is usually crystal clear . After a sNowstorm , I don't even have to wipe off the back window if I don't want to . The wireless phone charger in the middle is garbage and I never use it . The touch screen system is pretty cool but I usually just use the volume control on the steering wheel instead of the slide bar.. that slide bar sometimes doesn't respond well . You didn't mention the 2 sunroofs. That's a feature I really like , depending where the sun is in the sky , I can close one and not the other and still get shade and see the sky .

The software department didn't really care when it came to drawing the icons for the infotainment system. Those look Windows Vista level 12:28
