The 2019 Oak Mountain High School Band "GoPro" Show

Sharing for the first time the 2019 GoPro Show highlighting the 2019-2020 Oak Mountain High School Band Marching Season. Everything was shot on one of my GoPro Cameras - GoPro Hero 7 Black or Hero 3 Black....
This is one of the most difficult edits as anyone who edits video can appreciate....Literally hundreds of captures to get all the band field instruments.

@@bwfitz yeah I know 😂😂😂😂 hours and hours into a 20 minute video lol And I thought my 10 minute low effort vid was a lot😂😂

@@mountainbikingwithlogan6163 First you have to capture it all. ( I have 16 Gopros) (Hey @Gopro how about a sponsorship!!!!!) ..then ingest it to the computer (twice for backup)...then painstakingly edit each moment of audio to the right instrument and video clip... I literally had hundreds of captures of the show with ALL instruments used some multiple times....a friend of mine said I am nuts for doing all this...but I enjoy seeing the result and the smiles from the students. Thanks again for watching... we are about to premiere this year's version next week... it's even bigger and better!

Really great performance love this. I will say I've never seen a military style uniform on a core band only in well.. Military style bands like mine and I think it's very unique love that fact

These are the original uniforms since the band's inception in 1999. Not sure what the decision process was in choosing these but Oak Mountain is very well known for these. I appreciate you taking the time to comment and for watching!

@@bwfitz yeah no problem I enjoyed the performance. And it's a grate uniform and it shows that it's the people who make a band not the uniform. I will say the uniform almost looks like Atascocita high school band from Texas uniforms but still very different

@@emmanuelvera2921 Glad you enjoyed the video and I agree it is not the uniform! If you get time check out past videos of this band.... They are very good. I am partial to the 2016 show in which my son was a senior. Red Sky at Night or as we call it the "Pirates Show"! Take care...
