Jiri's KO is not even in the discussion for those guys, and Rose's TKO of Weili is ? Like, a standard high kick, which was well-executed but we see that each month, versus a spinning back elbow, which you see once every 10 years. For me it was either Jiri, Cory or Ignacio. Very hard to pick one between the three.

I agree. That fight was a banger too while it lasted. Constant pressure from Jiri, clean spinning elbow for the finish, the way Reyes fell too was absolutely vicious.

The max Holloway promo of the year actually makes alot of sense, after that promo there was like 10 guys arguing over who's the real best boxer in the UFC and there was quite a bit of KZfaq channels doing "best boxer in UFC" videos all just because of max Holloway

Yan v Sandhagen was a no-brainer choice for fight of the year. Probably the most dynamic and technical fight ever. Definitely the highest display of pure skill. Easy choice

I Loved Yan va Sandhagen too! It was my pick . It was super technical and competitive and we had Two more rounds! It was more competitive and skillful than just raw power (I know they’re skilled too but not more than this fight ) . I really wanted them to win fight of the year . 5 crazy rounds !

Ortega vs Volkanawski wasn't one sided. Fifth round Ortega was still in the fight, looking better than before you could argue. Dillashaw vs Sandhagen may be better than Sandhagen vs Yan. Great fight.

You need to define these a bit better - seems like the people voting though "promo" had to be like an edited video package not a 'wrestling promo' and they took "comback..." to mean a fighter coming back from injury (hence the Holloway vs Yair as like number 3 or whatever it was).
