13.1 at 108 is pretty respectful for the base 6 cylinder engine, considering its a big heavy luxury sedan.

I think it's impressive especially for the V6 and such a heavy car S class is so nice. We don't really need electric cows and other pasture animals are actually doing more damage with their gases than a lot of these engines are these engines are running cleaner than ever I'll keep the sound of the V6 over some electric appliance

I don't disagree with that, but they are always looking to take steps forward in terms of performance and safety above appearance. Hate to say it but I agree with you. We bought a 2020 loaded Subaru Outback in fall of ‘19 and that was the first year they put in a HUGE touch screen right in the middle of the dash between the driver & passenger and we HATED it. You HAD TO take your eyes off the road to use it and it seemed like so many of the functions took two buttons to complete and there were no tactile button back-ups. The standard 4 cylinder CVT was loud and ssssslooooow and the voice recognition was utterly worthless. Got rid of it in Nov. of last year and replaced it with a top-of-the-line Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy model (one step below a Genesis) and we truly love it. Turbo 4 cylinder, no ridiculous giant touch screen and so much better in so many ways.

I say it's about da8n time that full size luxury vehicles like Mercedez finally thought it would be a great idea to have rear steering to easily steer the behemoth in tight corners. I haven't seen rear steering like that since the GMC Sierra Denali back in 2002. Surprised not many car manufactures have this technology in their full size sedan line up.

Most of these will probably be leased by people who have money to burn. After several years when the warranty runs out these will depreciate like a rock. I'm guessing this vehicle has over 75 computers on it, which are great when they all work in concert together. However, when the inevitable repairs are required be prepared to warm up your checkbook. Even small repairs will require sophisticated diagnostic equipment, specialized Benz technicians, and recalibrating of complex systems. No thanks!

3.0 turbo v6 with 424hp and 390lbs torque is impressive to say the least. Honestly I’m pretty fascinated on how advanced we are getting with these engines.. I mean Chevy trail blazer has a 3 Cylinder, yes I said it right a THREE CYLINDER turbo engine. With the last 5 years have really showed how amazing things can change and so fast too. I bet the designers (5-10 years ago) NEVER thought of putting a v6 in the s class flagship! But now... 5 years ago I would of laughed at a s class with a 6banger. Now I’d probably own one. HA

if it were the best automobile in the world it would brake at 90 to 100 feet like Audi's rather than 134 feet, that's not very confident braking results for a luxury car costing 110 +

I’ll take that over a SUV as a daily driver any day unless it’s a luxury SUV then would have to think about it.

This is the most generic looking MB I've ever seen. It looks like a car in a video game that can't look like a real car because of licensing. The headlights are too small or the grill is too big or both. And then the bumper lower fascia looks horrible. Why has Mercedes fallen so much?

Car looks boring. For a 100k plus it looks like an average car.

The interior makes the car look cheap. It's the equivalent of an Apple watch to a Rolex. One is timeless, the other will look outdated in a matter of years
