I grew up a mile away from Shea and practically lived there during the season. Love that team.

Thanks for sharing this! We drove up to Flushing in mid-August. My wife is from Taiwan and wanted to experience Chinatown. Our hotel was about a mile walk away from Citi Field. I didn't get the chance to go to a game - but I did walk around the place a few times. This video gave me a good feeling for what it is like inside. Good stuff! I look forward to them finishing up the new soccer stadium on the other side of Citi Field. It feels kind of run down at the moment, but should get better once things are built up a bit.

Did you see the sea of orange shirts in right center field? They are the 7 line army Mets fan group (7 line is the train going into Citi Field), just attended Sunday's game with them and it was a lot of fun! They have their own strikeout ritual and feels like you are orchestrating for the whole stadium! A great experience

If they sit there they have to wear orange? Because on t.v I always see a sea of orange their. It cool but I guess that's a trend right? I'm not from NY but I'm a Met fan

Great video as always, but at around the 4:26 mark you made a boo boo, it's Tug McGraw, not Mcgriff (I know you know that & just had a brain fart, lol) Go Phillies!!!!!!

I think I just needed to pronunciate better and not garble what I’m saying. I think I said McGraw and mumbled it. Maybe I was thinking of the Crime Dog. ;)

I don’t know if the Mets fans have warmed to him. I know there’s been a bunch of posts in the past about concerns around his character.

@@ViewFromTheCheapSeats Yeah it's a strange one isn't it? He performed well at the Rays but noone was particularly disappointed when he left. I'm in the UK but from afar Pham seems more interested in designer clothes and shoes than baseball. Just my opinion.

I grew up in Flushing and will always be a Mets fan. That said, I’ll watch any teams playing baseball and we had not been to the newer Yankee Stadium yet, so we crossed that off the list this trip.
