there really needs to be a true no prep class. no tire prep, no conditioning, no tire warmers, none of that. just throw a tune up in it, do a burnout, and send it also would you be willing to try the new rc8x

I love your content but I do have a question about motor types. In outlaw, can someone run say a spektum 6500kb or higher 4 pole sensorless motor? I just ask because the rules say any common 1/10 motor and ESC but then I hear other people say 2 pole sensored systems only. Can both run together or is there a strictness to that rule?

Hey thanks. Acutely 4 pole motors are kind of the standard these days. They have a lot more torque and are way easier on batteries. So yes you’re good. I run a 4 pole r1 volta

@@Dorkyand40 awe man thank you. The amount of people I had to ask to get to that bottom line was nuts. I've been in the hobby a while but up until recently I've always been a bit of a basher. No Prep drag racing seems like the best, most cost effective way to get into organized racing that I could find, plus wherever there is 132ft, there is a track. I really appreciate your reply man. Any suggestions of a good motor and ESC to run?

Real street rules state “no prep of tires allowed at the track”. Does that still mean you can treat the tires at home before heading to the track? They just have to be dry at the line?

I don't understand why all these rules, especially about body shell and having to be a muscle car this isn't real car drag racing. Let people use any scale any body and do whatever they want to the car to make it fast as you can.having the same couple cars with the same everything that blows. Let people be creative and bring to the line whatever they can make. That's fun. Acting like this is real car grag racing with all these rules sucks the fun right out of it for me
