The 2023 summer has been brutal on Savvy Organics Farm and homestead. We and the chickens have suffered daytime highs between 104 and 114 degrees. Everything is parched and stressed from the summer heat wave. The pastured poultry chickens' egg production has been very low due to the stress from the summer heat. We cant wait for cooler weather and more organic eggs.
