Yeah, I just took all of the official game recaps and put them together to make one long video. I made this because I feel like the video on the Rangers postseason run that MLB’s KZfaq channel posted was just too short and left out too much. We’ll see if this gets blocked for copyright.

I watched that game surrounded by Astros fans and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t feel like it was over. But after I slept on it, I knew they would win games 6 and 7. I watched game 7 surrounded by Rangers fans, that night I think a lot of them knew the Rangers had just planted their flag as champions. I’m so glad it worked itself out in the World Series. Never again Rangers fans will ask “what if” they won in 2011!!

Remember when people talked about the division champs had a week off that’s why they lose. Rangers had so many off days because of the sweeps.

They really didn’t have many off days.. we played the orioles right after the rays, and got 1 extra day after beating the orioles 3-0, because Houston beat the twins 3-1. So yeah one extra day off, then went into a 7 game series with Houston, dbacks also had a 7 game series, so after those completed we went straight into playing each other. They literally got 1 extra day lol

Truly, the Rangers 2023 World Series run might go down as one of the top playoff runs not just in baseball, but in all of sports. The 11-0 road record in the postseason might never be replicated again by any team in the three lsports leagues that handle their playoff formats in best-of series (MLB, NBA, NHL). They are only the third team in baseball history (the 1914 Boston Braves and the 1969 New York Mets being the other two) to win a World Series after losing 100+ games two years prior. You can count so many times when the Rangers took a shot to the balls (blowing the division on the last day of the regular season, the injuries, the Game 5 ALCS heartbreaker) yet managed to get up off the floor and come through. Bruce Bochy has been nothing more than a godsend, a franchise-changing manager that never panicked under pressure. Even if the Rangers do win more World Series titles in the future? The first one will always be the sweetest.

I never thought I'd see another series where the road team won all 7 games after the 2019 World Series, and four years later I stand happily corrected. However, I do truly believe we'll never see a team go 11-0 (!!!) on the road in the postseason again. As if going, say, 8-0 isn't hard enough, to even have an opportunity to play 11 road games is incredibly rare (you obviously have to lose some home games to even enable it). What the Rangers did in the 2023 postseason was truly special.

@@idontwaitfor420A wild card team needs 13 wins total to win the World Series. The Rangers won 11 on the road. Wild Card teams don't often make it out of the DS, even more rare to get out of the CS (in either league). They'd only need 4 games in the DS though not 5 as the format is 2-1-2, best of 3. So a team would need to win 2 straight then drop 3 straight in both the CS and WS. Not sure if you're aware but dropping 3 straight is not a recipe for success. Requires luck as well as skill. The Rangers were lucky to go up against a young Orioles team with little post season experience and even more lucky that the Astros have sucked ass at home all year long. 11 straight road wins is not getting beat for a long time.

@@nintendolegonbafan5413 2022 Postseason over 2023 postseason rangers might have won the ALCS and WS but still lost the Sliver Boot Trophy against Astro in the same year Rangers won their first World Series the 2023 Houston Astro's are your 2023 Texas Lone Star Sliver Boot Champions so that means Astros are still your TEXAS Sliver Boot Champions like it or not 2002-2017-2022

We were so worried about this team heading into the postseason because of how they finished, imagine being one of these teams carrying momentum only to run into the buzzsaw the rangers became?

I took all the official recaps from each game and put them together as one long video. I only did it because when the official MLB YT channel posted their version of this, it was way too short and it left out so many important plays. So it is kind of a repost but at the same time it kind of isn’t, if you get what I mean.

I think the rangers deserved it but I think it would be a better World Series if it was rangers VS braves

Personally I was hoping it would be Rangers vs. Phillies, but Rangers vs. Braves would’ve been pretty epic too. Still, I’m happy with the series we did get because we got that classic Game 1.

@@nicholasbrown4109 yes, it was luck. They were not the highest scoring team not by a mile. They just happen to be on the good end of some really questionable calls by the umpires. Even though they had shitty pitching, luck was on their side.

One of the MOST BORING season postseason and world series in MLB history facts the 2022 Houston Astro's season postseason and world series was way more epic exciting and entertaining compare too this BORING 2023 Also Rangers might have won the ALCS and World Series Championship BUT Houston Astro's still won the Texas Lone Star Series Championship Trophy against Rangers 9-4 so Houston Astros are still your 2023 Texas Slvier Boot Champions.

It is called the WORLD SERIES for a reason ..i.e. WORLD CHAMPIONS !! The Texas Rangers are WORLD CHAMPIONS , meaning TEXAS CHAMPIONS , as it covers the WORLD !! World Champion cancels out any Texas Silver Boot Champion !! There is also the AL CHAMPION, and that is once again the TEXAS RANGERS !! The AL CHAMPIONSHIP also cancels out any Texas Silver Boot Champion !! The ONLY boring part about the AL post season, was the fact that the ASStros were involved, as they can ONLY win by cheating !! ALL the players and coaches from the ASStros 2017 World Series, should be banned from baseball FOREVER !! The fact that they are not banned from baseball, means that Major League Baseball should reinstate the 1917 White Sox !! THE GREAT SHOELESS JOE JACKSON !!!
