I have almost 91,000km on my 2022 (#781) Ultimate and it's still my favourite vehicle ever. No plans to replace it any time soon. At least not until sometime after the warranty runs out at 200,000km. (Yeah, I got the extended for the mileage I put on. Otherwise I'd be through the factory warranty in under 2.5 years!) Probably the biggest issue for winters in Canada is the tonneau cover. As soon as we start getting snow (October normally here, NW Ontario) it's basically frozen shut until spring. But I love that it locks and I can use it like a big honkin' trunk. Packed so much stuff in the back coming home from Christmas in Indiana. 15 hours, terrible roads and freezing rain, zero worries. Curious to see if it gets a facelift in '25 like the Tucson ... which is getting more Cruz-ish in the grille. My license plate says it all ... GON4CRUZ! Oh, and you missed a bed feature - there are notches near the front and back that you can set 2x6 lumber across to DIY a shelf in there. I created a 'yoke' of sorts with notches cut out for the back slot that I can strap 20lb propane tanks to upright for filling. Fits 3 across beautifully!

did you finally fix the mics as you were "off the air" for a few days now so hopefully you can still show the EV9 content where the mics had issues unless it has already been delivered.

Yes, the mic’s were a whole disaster. Between hours on the phone with tech-support & troubleshooting with the help desk at Best Buy we just decided to purchase new equipment. Unfortunately the EV9 did deliver but we are expecting more shortly!

Hyundai missed the boat on santa cruz. I would have bought one except for lack of options. First truck, and they didn't offer a full limited or now calligraphy with hud, power mirrors, heated/ cooled seats. At least it should have had all the options available on the tucson.

heres my question why pay 53k for this santa cruz model and wee can buy a fully loaded xlt ford ranger for 54k or and fully loaded chevy zr2 for 58k ???????

I think that’s a great question! Like I mentioned in this video, the Santa Cruz is pretty unique and is certainly not for everyone. One may consider the Santa Cruz over domestic options offered by Ford/GM because of individual preferences and needs. The Santa Cruz, with its lower price, refined cabin yet rugged truck like versatility, better warranty, and advanced driver assistance features, appeals to those seeking a distinctive driving experience and perhaps realizes their lifestyle doesn’t need/want specifics that would be found on a more traditional truc. On the other hand, the Ranger boasts a higher towing capacity, 4x4 capability, and a more "truck-like" design approach, making it ideal for those prioritizing traditional truck features. It’s definitely important to consider these factors to find the model that best suits your lifestyle and requirements.
