That Rockwood Green should have a brown Napa leather or Syntex interior. Missed opportunity from Hyundai. I do like that hidden storage compartment though…wish the Sorento had it.

I went in for service on my Santa Cruz this morning and the dang dealer had the EXACT Santa Fe on the lot that I've been trying to talk my wife into replacing her Equinox with. I put a deposit on it to hold for the weekend while we discuss. LOL Terra cotta orange is freaking awesome. You can definitely feel the weight difference from the Santa Cruz though. A little less peppy, but also smoother, even with those ridiculous 21" wheels. Why, oh why do they insist on bigger wheels and lower profile tires as you move up trim?? Wish it had the 18s from the XRT. But they can be replaced ...

One of the quirks of this new Santa Fe is how they had to design/mount the taillights low to allow space for the extra long tailgate struts. Those struts are some of the longest I’ve seen. All this is done to allow for that huge/wide tailgate opening and low lift over height. But, because the entire taillight is part of the tailgate, if you have to drive it open/up while hauling long cargo, there’s actually a secondary set of taillights that activate when the tailgate is up. Regulatory and safety reasons necessitate some part of the rear braking element to be visible even if the tailgate is up so that’s why Hyundai had to build in a second set of even lower taillights/brakes. One of the strangest designs I’ve ever seen but whatever works :)

Hi Guys. I just got a 2024 Forte. Do you know how to disable the all doors unlock when using the remote to unlock the vehicle? I would just like to unlock the driver door when using the remote, or if possible by double pressing the remote will unlock all doors. That was how the remote worked on my KIA Soul. I have looked through the manual, Google, etc. without avail.

I think like most cars, no matter the brand, there should be something in the settings on the infotainment center to adjust those types of settings.

I have gone through the menus multiple times, and they are for basic settings, such as audio, Bluetooth, etc. nothing for setting single door (driver) unlock, to multiple door unlock feature, or in configuring the remote. I would just like the driver door only to be unlocked for security purposes. As I stated, my 2016 Soul's remote on a single unlock press, would unlock the driver side, and double unlock press would unlock all doors. I just thought that one of the KIA representative would know and the reason for the ask. Thanks. Update: I called the dealer. The dealer stated by design and cannot be changed. Just depends on the vehicle. 😞
