The 2.5 normally aspirated engine (no turbo to go bad) has both port -and- direct fuel injection, so no worries about keeping the back of the intake valves clean while enjoying the 10 years or 100K miles drivetrain warranty.

The only issue is that in Alberta here the Kia dealerships LOVE to offer "extras" that you to purchase even if you factory order and charge you $3000 + for items that you could get for $500.

I would've have considered this trim instead of a sunroof a 360 camera would be much better. And I need that 360 camera on this trim and not with the other trims!

Is there a button on the dash to turn on the heated windshield? I think you mentioned doing it remotely but didn't see a button. Thank you.

Yes there is! It is located on the climate control panel. I realize we didn’t point it out in today’s video. The icon is very similar to the rear windshield defrost icon.

What would do? I have a 2023 Sportage EX Premium that is sitting in my garage waiting for a part that will be 12 weeks to manufacture and deliver to my dealer. Car was found to have rust and water damage to the fuse box and wiring harness area. My Kia has less than 3000 kms. Under warranty but cost to repair in the thousands of dollars. Would you trust this vehicle going forward? I sure don't. Paid $45,000 taxes in. Would like your thoughts.

In Canada the smart power lift starts on the EX Premium trim which is one level up!

This is in Canada? In Europe Sportage is a totally s different car - it's shorter, has a 1.6 tgdi engine, the 2.5 does not exist, the sunroof is only in the top gt trim, the transmission is a double clutch not t converter, the seats are different, the materials.and also while in your mid trim you have top features, you have the low budget cluster dash, which here is only in the starter trim.also way cheaper in NA than Europe.

I’m finding it hard to find a 2024 Kia Sportage EX trim that has a sunroof here in Michigan. Is there only a certain location or country that has it? If you could please help me out.

Our dealership is located in Ontario, Canada so we only film and received Canadian spec models. I believe the EX in the US is equipped without a sunroof

EX gas model in the U.S. is missing several features that the Canadian model gets (heated windshield, heated steering wheel, pano sunroof, etc.). You have to get the EX hybrid in the U.S. to have the option of a sunroof in the Premium package. Higher Sportage trim levels in the U.S. get adaptive cruise and the heated steering wheel.

How is the visibility and seat adjustability for short drivers? I’m interested in this vehicle but I’m only 5’ tall!

Charlotte and I are both in the 5’3 - 5’4 range! We think it’s certainly shorter driver friendly! - However I’d definitely recommend test driving the vehicle to make sure you feel comfortable behind the wheel.

Good morning Gabby, Mike & Tim, I leave in Montreal Quebec I have been watching multiple video of different véhicule of Hyundai / Kia Was looking at 2024 Sportage Hybrid EX or with bell and whistle ( sunroof etc..) Do I need to get car inspected when arrived in Quebec ? Price taxes included ? Also if the guaranteed will valid in Quebec ! Olivier

And Toyota currently has 34 Open recalls for just their 2022-2023 vehicle models alone, yet they are hailed for their reliability. The reality is, recalls happen when manufacturers discover something that needs fixing to ensure safety. It shows that the manufacturer is proactive about fixing any potential problems, prioritizing everyone's safety on the road.

@BrantfordKia Federal safety regulators published the recall Monday after the safety issues were reported to NHTSA. Vehicles' roof molding can become loose or detach while driving, which may have been a result of improper installation during vehicle assembly. Yeah , makes me want to run out and get a kia!

This has never been a problem in Canada - all vehicles are equipped with anti theft immobilizes.

Ok. You need to tell the truth about what model you have. Cause I'm looking at the same model and it doesn't have the radar cruise control plate. So that's not thee normal ex

Hi! It can depend on what country you are in. Depending on your location, vehicles can have different features. We’re based in Canada and are showing the Canadian Ex.

This is such BS. Tell it like it is. In the USA, NO EX model comes with Adaptive cruise control. Not even as a add on. This is a HUGE KIA mistake. Adaptive cruise control should be offered on EVERY model. It is a safety standard and KIA is doing it's customers wrong by trying to force them to spend almost $4,000 more on a high end model just to get what should be a standard safety feature. SHAME ON YOU KIA....

Hi, Our camera is fine. The quality issue has to do with the fact that these are livestreams and fibre internet is not available in our area.

They've said multiple times that it's their internet connection that causes issues. And, if you would actually pay attention to when the issues actually do come up, you'd notice that the lagging, stuttering, freezing, and sudden drops in video resolution are all symptoms of a weak internet connection as opposed to the recording equipment suddenly deciding spontaneously to flex back and forth. (Hint: that's not how video recording works.)
