One quick addition to magic find is accessory enrichments. Enrich all to +magic find helps quite a lot.

you can actually manipulate the pathing of the mole perk by digging towards the west. In my limited experience, this has greatly improved my rates.

You also forgot the fact Scatha/Worm spawns account for the Armadillo mining 3 blocks high, if you have good ping you can go through your old tunnels and mine the blocks above and still spawn worms.

You can also use renowned blazing fortune 10 magic find 10 magma lord armor with clover helmet but prepare to pay 20 billion for the setup.

it's recommended to have a high taming skill and looting enchant as well, looting can buff scatha rates by up to 75% and pet luck is basically adding to your magic find in fact black cat is better than gdrag for scathas, or equal with 1b gold collection simply because of that extra pet luck

As of Right now it seems highly likely that looting doesn’t affect pet drops - it does however work for more gemstone drops which does make a good amount of money aswell

Ye but ONLY the calculator says so - the formula they mention everywhere else for pet drops only uses pet luck and magic find so they probably just messed up their calculator + I’ve been doing some tests with eman pets where it got extremely close to the expected number of pet drops I should’ve gotten without looting

8:06 black cat is better since it gives the pet luck and magic find as a stat now, so you'll be able to get those stats on your daed axe as well. Black cat gives 15 mf + 15 pet luck = 30 luck points, while gdrag gives less than 30 magic find, unless you have 1b gold collection (not a lot of ppl will have that and it'd be the same as black cat). Obviously you'd put a minos relic on the black cat then as well for even more pet luck and magic find.

after i finished watching this video, i didnt follow the guide at all but got the motivation to mine, i was randomly digging and got a worm spawn, then i dropped a blue scatha pet LMFAO. 3rd scatha ever killed and already dropped

1. use mole and efficient miner, mole quite literally boosts ur rates if u mine towards west.. 2. gdrag is technically the best pet but only if u both have 1b gold AND a clover helmet, if u don’t have both it’s equal to bc at best 3. black cat and bal don’t do the same thing, that got changed like a year ago(?) 4. the superior sorrow thing is already something I answered in another comment 5. molten equipment exists 6. enrichments exist

It important to know that 1- looting affects drop rates for rare drops, it’s a bit like a multiplicative for magic find 2- the mythic black cat’s perk does affect drops the same way looting does (except slayer drops 3- pet luck is very important as it stacks with magic find for pet drops

looting does NOT seem to affect pet drops, this has been tested and the stats for a lot of Scatha farmers indicate that it doesn't apply here

Mole and eff miner dont effect worm spawns, and renowned superior is better if you have over a cumulative 200 pet luck and magic find since its 10% gives more stats after that 200. You can set pet rules for black cat and bal to swap. Since worms have a cooldown you can swap between sorrow and divans since divans will give you more money p/h when you dont have worms to kill.

First of all ur forgetting that superior only increases it by 5%, secondly ur forgetting that renowned triggers on the magic find stats that sorrow gives which basically means superior outclasses sorrow at the following number: Let x be the effective magic find,then Sorrow = (x+20)*1.04 (renowned Bonus) Superior = x * 1.09 To find out when superior gets equal or even better we use Superior = Sorrow 1.09x = 1.04x + 20.8 0.05x = 20.8 x = 416 However u have to achieve this amount of emf WITHOUT armor

Currently sitting at around 60 hours, no pet (ironman moment), I usually go from bottom right to left, I keep mole and efficient miner enabled for more drops (I need sooo much hardstone) cuz there's a cave from nucleus that goes almost directly to the corner.

the only thing is with this is prioritize petluck over magic find, you say to use magic find on your beacon but petluck is the stat you want more over magic find

As long as you have it active on one or the other, I'd imagine the difference is so low it's not worth worrying about

U should know this but I’ll explain it anyways as it is pretty easy: Mf and Pl both work exactly the samefor petdrops (chance= basechance * (1+(mf+pl)/100) and renowned does increase ur stats by 1% - this applies to pl and to mf therefore it doesnt change anything if u change the beacon to pet luck because u get the 1% increase to the 5 (or 6 with scorched crystals) anyways. It only changes the pet drop message number itself since that one only contains the magic find.

The better pick when it comes to pets, is actually the Black Cat. Pet Luck > Magic Find

That’s just wrong, pet luck and magic find work exactly the same for scatha pet drops - most people should still use black cat because gdrag is only equal at 1B gold collection - but the statement PL > MF ist completely wrong

They don’t impact rates but they can’t be annoying in your tunnels. My take is if you want scathas then turn them off. If you want hard stone keep them on

2 minute guide on how to efficiently make tunnel: mine down look towards west ; hold leftclick and w ; at the end use etherwarp to warp to the start of ur tunnel and dig a next tunnel in -x direction. Repeat

top scatha farmers say that looting prob doesnt work because the math wouldnt make sense (one of the top scatha farmers is a math nerd so it trust him) . though you arent wrong when saying looting 5 is a good investment

Yeh same here i guess they think your macroing, happened to me a few hours ago and my ban appeal was denied instantly

@the_pleasure_wizard yeah hypixel had a lot of problems with macros, and watch dog would never catch them. all that would happen is a macro check that could be ignored if you had a good script that took into account that they would happen so then hypixel just skipped the step of adding better macro checks that couldn't be done by a macro and just went straight to ban if mine for 2 mins in straight line
