Can't justify a tenner per month on top of Netflix and all the rest. If they were fair about it and said a fiver then you could justify that. I only watch off the ball for the Rugby anyways.

I’m the same re OTB and rugby, asked OTB if they would consider sports specific pricing structure, they said no.

2 mins 42 secs is WAY too much free content TBH lads - I'd say just get a couple cardboard cut-outs / prop them up + get a screenshot of same - plebs can make do with that.

The Lions Tour. Four "nations" in Europe (three emphatically still colonized) join forces against a solitary "rugby nation" somewhere in the Southern hemisphere far far away. An over-hyped tournament of little importance with inconsequential sponsorship and an indifferent global audience. A booze fuelled junket for the mohair faithful. Anyone for a "Heino". It's Farquhar's round.

100%. It's a baffling thing. Having been to one in NZ it was just an over hyped media corporate thing and very much seen as a British thing rather than a British and Irish thing in nz. Noone had any real attachment to the team, win lose or draw. Outside the very tight rugby circle it's an outdated format and BOD has to say positive things and no doubt believes what he is saying but any objective look at it says it's a nice well paid junket for the players and a boozy holiday for some fans. In a country like Australia where Rugby union is a very minor sport, it's crazy the coverage it gets and that Farrell is gone for something that actually matters like the 6 nations

Pat spillane was rigt in his opinion on manager of the year Farrell. Lovely guy but not a winner. Rwc was a huge disappointment overall. Sentimentality over reality with rugby gang. Sexton and 3 others should have been take off at half time. Lions manager inconsequential really. Plus !! 6 nations also going downhill. Dupont etc waiting for olympics?

Agree totally, Joe schmit extended his contract with the IRFU after Argentina knocked us out of world cup in '15 (we had no depth, '19 was worse and still no depth, Farrell takes over and brings a strong, very strong squad to France and doesn't play them, same players for every group game, bar one or two positions, and quarter final failure once again , prize for doing that, extend his contract. We should play a complete new team for the next 2 six nations campaigns and blood in some new players but that's not going to happen, six nations is our world cup and that's the way it will always be unfortunately.

Irish rugby has always been sentimental. That just comes from 100 years of being the wooden spoon and being overly grateful for even being in a competition.

What a pathetic attitude. He won a Grand Slam Six Nations earlier in the year. You have an awfully short memory. Ireland had only managed that feat 3 times before in a tournament spanning back over a century. A huge achievement, that on top of a tour Test win in NZ the year before. Something that is exceedingly rare to see.
