I'm sorry; Mark Zuckerberg what?? Bad example. You should probably start with the 'hood' and WHY it was conceived/invented. This isn't much of a history lesson. Nowhere did she mention its actual practical purposes other than to keep warm. I'm definitely inspired though. Inspired to research the actual history and maybe create my own rendition on the subject. Also, the editing was nice! Sound effects could use a bit more mixing, but the design is great.

She's actually talking about the _hood,_ not the _"hoodie"._ The thing that you pull over your head and is attached to some other garment has always been called a "hood", while the "hoodie" means, quite specifically, the modern _sweatshirt_ with a hood. Several of her illustrations of older "hoodies" are totally different garments, like capes and overcoats, with hoods. A whole "TED" video about a concept she hasn't even understood at all.

NO! She is wrong and has concept of recent (past 20 years) fashion, or what the non mainstream wore. In recent history "huuudi" became a bit popular during the 90's with Gangster Rap.,and some people who were into hip hop but the average person never wore it. It would of died but in the late 1990s or early 2000's people in the alternative rock scene adopted it. It was actually people in the alternative scene that popularized it and blown it into the mainstream, not Hip hop as most people think.
