I knew RDJ had to be on this list... I and a group of friends all have extremely large frame collections because of him. One of them is up to 150+!! He's an amazing frame detective at this point, just fantastic identification skills.

Trinidad James lowkey has a very underrated yet extensive collection of glasses he checks all the boxes to me from the variety, to the eccentric, to the nostalgic feel. Robert Downy Jr is definitely one of my favorite glasses wearer.

Johnny Depp is my style and eyewear inspiration. He is the sole reason why i got the Lemtosh (i upgraded from Raybans so the quality is a huge step up) My 2nd pair is a more minimalistic Titanium frame from a boutique Japanese brand called "Cotton Eyewear". They don't even have an official site but they make extraordinary handcrafted frames for a good price. Problem is, they are extremely hard to source outside of Asia

@D4rkBlack22 I know of a few optical shops that carry jmm and ahlem in Japan. My instagram explore page is filled with Japanese optical shops that carry both domestic and international brands and I cant say I'm not jealous any time I see something unique that's not accessible here in the US.

I’m with you. Robert Downey Jr. is the coolest glasses wearer. But this J. F. Rey frame looks too futuristic. You should give him something more classy. I also have the Flight 006 in gold, but they look way more luxurious and classy. I am lucky that I have not seen another person with this frame yet in Austria, at least in my area.

I would love to have lenses which turn slightly red when being with UV light of the sun, but can I choose to which degree lenses go dark? For example with Zeiss or rodenstock do they let you choose the max amount of how dark they get or is this set by the manufacturer?

I'm old school so Michael Caine, Woody Allen,Cary Grant, Enzo Ferrari, Marcello Mastroianni, Although I think he only wore sunglasses Steve McQueen, as well as Bruce Lee, Aristotle Onassis,and finally Peter Sellers. Many of the Men on my exhausted list have had frames named for them. I love looking at old pics of their chunky sturdy yet stylish frames.

RDJ definitely has rocked some of the best looks. Some of the less than great ones he's managed to pull off and make great. And others he's tried are straight butt-ugly. I admire the confidence though.

@@thespectaclefactory only because I did a search on where his spec’s came from - because I wanted them (JMM, of course)…and now I have a pair of black Fellini’s, (and custom clip ons for sun)…once you experience 7 barrel hinges, etc., most other glasses seem like ‘toys’.
