Ma'am, tanong ko lang po Kung tama tong scenario sa linear model ( more specifically sa Shannon-Weaver Model of communication ) "Brady himself made a call to his assistant, Caroline, saying that he wants to see her in 15 minutes. During his call, random inaudible noise appeared ( transference/ transmission error ) and his assistant received nothing in phrase but turmoiled noise. Again, owing to what happened, Caroline tried to call him about what he just said.

@@jjoshwy where did i say that linear has feedback? what part in the video? When we say linear, of course one way process. And one of the models that is known under linear is shannon weaver. Technically, shannon was used for technical communication. There are situations in shannon weaver that there is no feedback .example: listening to radio, watching tv. We dont need postiive feeback from listeners. However, in a situation in telephone conversation, there is a little feedback on it but it is not as interactive as other.models.Cos of criticisms of "no feeback" issue, shannon weaver has been widely used in multiple different areas of human communication. hi ma'am can i ask a question po of how EACH model of communication helps in improving communication?
@TeachinglearningEnglish
@TeachinglearningEnglish 2 жыл бұрын
It adds awareness. Each model has pros and cons. Other proponents have integrated other models to make it more communicative.

I already discussed the features, pros and cons. examples: writing emails, blogs. u wrote ur question almost an hr ago to me. thats an example of linear. this is being sent to me but no feedback is expected. yes. i replied. u have received a feedback from me but generally u are unsure when to receive it. that is why it is still characterized as a "no feedback" type of model. it is believed that there is no concept of feedback in linear communication as it was firstly focused on telecommunication.

for me interactive. since it is mainly used for nee media such as internet. You may be chatting - receiving feedback simultaneously but how long will ur friend reply is out of ur control.there is still delayed feedback.
