Hi, Liza! I am spanish native speaker! It blew my mind found how roach is pronunced in russian language! In my hometown, people often call the croton bug as "tacascuan, tastancuan, and other similar". The funny fact is not a word included in any Spanish dictionary. My hometown received a lot of refugees from Poland during the WW2. I wonder myself if there are any other words that we use in my hometown coming from eastern Europe.
