I named my first born, my daughter, Tamar. When people ask me why, I say, "Well, her Mom and I really loved the name but it's also because the Tamar in Genesis, Judah's daughter-in-law, is one of the bravest women in the Bible." She risked death to gain her promise. And through her comes the line that leads to Messiah.

Shabbat Shalom from Northern Ontario. COMMENT: the practice of giving the name “Marie” to girls and the name “Joseph” to boys is a Catholic practice. You will find this in every county where Catholicism is predominant.

Shabat shalom everybody 😊. Wow that was interesting. So many insights, thank you for sharing. Sharing a understanding I got from Holy Spirit about Yeshua's righteousness. The churches teach our righteousness comes from Yeshua, I agree. So why are we not *walking* in the righteousness of Yeshua??? It is not enough to say I have the righteousness of Yeshua but not walk the walk. It's like saying I have the 'passim' but not use it.

None of the three Tamars were prostitutes or wanted to be... so can’t be the Israel of Ezekiel. Only one had a robe. I don’t get the Tamar link to Ezekiel?

Me either. Neither of the Tamars could be compared to a prostitute . Tamar 1 was definitely not guilty of being a prostitute with the world.

🌴hank you for the wonderful placing of the pieces of the puzzle of the palm tree building beautiful Tamar. 37: 12: 12 is Yehovah's number of government, seen in that there were 12 original apostles. 46: 42: Those who rise to meet Yeshua in the air at His return as lightning from the east unto the west, Matthew 24: 27, are the small flock, Luke 12: 32, called to the New Covenant, Matthew 16: 18, I Corinthians 1: 26, I Peter 4: 17, Acts 10: 15, 28, 41, 44, 45. Because the New Covenant is the only Covenant promising Eternal Life for obedience, Matthew 19: 17, Revelation 2: 17, Revelation 3: 5. Totaling 144,000, Revelation 7: 4. So we see There is no renewed covenant. To claim such is to deny the atoning suffering, death, burial and resurrection of Savior Yeshua.

The one flaw with this is that Tamar 1 did not go whoring as a lifestyle as Israel did. She did NOT sell herself as a prostitute to the world. She did it ONCE, and for a specific purpose, for ONE person only , ie, for Judah. And, she was blessed!!! And, Judah considered her to be more righteous than him.

I always enjoyed jakes message, but I feel like the passages about the 2 nd Tamar don't line up or make sense, the end result is great. I just have a hard time making sense of passages saying one thing that doesn't match what her situation was and she never had children or went after other men. Sorry I just can't see the link this time. Long time watcher of rood awakening and Sword of Yahova. God bless

In my opinion... At 45 minutes, I doubt than any of the Bible was written in anything other than Hebrew. My reasoning is, why would God have his Scribes write it in any other language? He wouldn't.

"...there is no pretribulation rapture"! Have you ever studied Paul's revelations recorded in 1 Thes 4 :13-18 and 1 Cor 15 :51-57? There is absolutely a pretrib rapture, for in Rev 3:10 God says to the church at Philadelphia, that she would be kept from the hour of tribulation! Why would God pour His wrath on the bride of Christ? 1 Thes 5 :9, for God has not appointed us to wrath but to obtain salvation from the hour to try all the earth! The 70th week of Daniel. the 7 year trib is Jewish(Jer 30:7), and is for Israel the adulterous wife of God, not a chaste virgin presented to Jesus in Rev 19(! Cor 11;2) I would find no comfort knowing as a believer and a part of the New Testament church, that I was to look for the man of sin, the antichrist! Paul tells us to comfort one another with the message of the catching up!

I wish that you would fully understand the bride of Christ this is true wife. For she actually is the head of the church. But she is not the only one. In the plural form the children of God are the only church. But that knowledge was destroyed when the Bible was totally and intentionally mistranslated. Go read Revelations about the 144,000 they were born before the foundations of the Earth but have the right and the duty to overcome the darkness. Some of us were created in heaven even before the Earth and we have always had eternal life. But you have put false idols between you and God. And that is why you do not understand. Open your hearts to the one and only true God the creator of all creation the source of all life eternal. That is the only true religion.
