Mr. Scott, I'd like for you to know a few things: 1st, I grew up watching your Dad fish, back in the 70's & 80's. I just recently hooked into the St. Croix Bassmaster Open series. Man alive...was I impressed ! I was struck by your patience and how vigilant you were at Lake Okeechobee. I HAVE to laugh, Scott, that you mistook "Tommy" for Tammy, cuz "likes" constantly remind me of my family moving me to Florida, an adolescent, underdeveloped girl, whom my mom insisted would be better off with shorter hair in the summer heat and was consequently called "Tommy" for several gruelling weeks, that seemed like years and now are but humorous memories ... Man running to this video at 5am in the morning just trying to learn while I'm still freshly new to bass fishing, lets me know how far I have to go and Im lovin every step of the way no matter how long it takes. Im glad he explains what and why he does things. Learn and apply. learn and apply. right now I'm a bank bass fisher hikin and castin and man how many disappointments do I get but these guys ARE just on another level. Makes it soo smooth and ezay! What an inspiration. Heard and read up on tourns but never actually followed a pro and what a blessing to have come across this video. Great video Scott, never forget the time we fished together some 20+ years ago on the Timex boat down on the Big O. Your videos are super entertaining and relaxing...love watchin after a long week of work. I was down there fishing the White River just south of you 2 weeks ago, wishing I would have waited and caught ya on the trail. Good luck this year on Big Grand, another tough lake! GO GET EM!

Scott old buddy. I'm just an amateur but I've been catching bass since I could walk and that's over 50 years. In my experience on a day like that 2nd day I would fish every point that all that wind was blowing into and see if there are bait blowing into them with that wind. Most likely there will be. Take it or leave it son.

I fished Lake Tuscaloosa once with Dalton Bobo. Boy did he put me on some spotted bass. He goes cast here with this jerkbait, showed cadence and bam,4lb spot. He did that twice more in the first 3 casts, and says you got it. I laughed my ass off. What was even better, we sat 15 min waiting for 2 guys to move off the place where he knew those spots were on, moved in and whacked them. Then finished off the evening catching cruisers on buzz baits. This day was the day the Columbine high school shootings.

they aren't black bass (smallmouth, largemouth, spot, and the other species within those 3 base fish) stripers are a white fish and not actually apart of the same general species as typical bass

I have lowrance on my nitro and garmin on my seadoo. Garmin is hands down better. There is no contest lowrance is clunky and not well polished like garmin. It is like they just threw the lowrance together with zero care about ease of use. Also the many little things add up like showing the proper route guidance. If I knew lowrance was so trash I would not have purchased the boat. Everything on the boat is lowrance 😢.

Over the last 20 years you guys have fished for 100k and a last place wealth distribution cut down on classic. We all know 100k win is a far sub pro level pay. We all know the last 4 years have seen some of the largest industry growth this we will ever see probably for the next decade. When will they implement a more legitimate payout and not some sort of chump change.
