There is a special way to throttle a PD engine those who know will know what I’m talking about, you have to feather the throttle not mash it, you eventually perfect it to the point where it’s super responsive and faster compared to mashing the pedal.

We never got anything this cool in the US. Only 1.9 we got in the US was in the MKV Jetta or Bora or what ever you call it on your side of the pond. That was the 100 horsepower version. Then after that the 140 horsepower 2.0L. The more videos I see of the PD130, the more I see the appeal of these. Wish we had these haha

Fabia vrs is such an iconic car, ive had 2 and with a big turbo and a LSD watching this makes me one to get another🙁

Love these sort of cars but people who say they keep up with rs3's etc with a proper driver in an rs3 you aint keeping up on the streets or a track, maybe if your revs are right and you hook up with him slightly delayed, yes it can beat an rs3 but ive beat an rs3 is a 330d, doesnt mean i beat them always just means i caught it better off the lights as he was sleeping, yes they are a sleeper but come on if youve got something to prove get some draggy times/lap times and lets see how impressive the setup really is

Deisels are completely different now. You can grt them mapped so they don't blow like that. But yes there's a cooper sd near me its mapped it sounds really nice doesn't even sound like a diesel doesn't smoke either.

The funny is any stock vrs,s that are left are going to be very rare. And worth a bit in years to come
