It's like his yard is its own little world with plains and canyons and a bridge over a dry riverbed and a railroad and rail yard. I love it. And the trains are incredible, truly a work of passion and art.

When I was about 3 to 7 years old there was this old man well old to me being 3 years that lived right across the street for me back in the sixties who had a steam locomotive he had more tracks on the side of his house stacked up but he only had a few tracks set up on the other side of his house with a switch track to go back in the tunnel for storage. He had a water tower train lights 2 cars you could ride in and pile of coal his train was set up like yours where you could put the coal up from under your seat Into the burner from the coal car It was a beautiful blue with a red star in front with little steps on each side In the front to get on the catwalk of course if you were a little tiny man the size of the train. It reminded me of a Western train but it didn't have that big fat smokestack it had to one like yours Unfortunately my mom couldn't afford to take pictures back then as much as she would like to have film was expensive so there's no pictures of it and that's sad because it was just so cool I remember coming home one day after school when I was around 9 a gentleman was putting it in the back of his pickup truck and I said where are you going with the train He sold it to me but at the time being a kid I wasn't really that inquisitive about where he was taking it But I remember being somewhat sad about it wasn't long after that that we moved And it became a memory but watching your video just brought it all flooding back to me Great video and beautiful beautiful beautiful trains I've been to the state fair in New York where they have a couple of old diesel lackawana locomotives On display I have loved trains my whole life and I'm building a railroad Rail rider to ride on Abandoned train tracks Sure wish I had a picture of the train the old guy had when I was a kid It was in Savannah Georgia back In the early sixties.In you're endeavors if you ever could do some research being connected like you are with the Railroad models maybe yall could dig up a picture of the train the old guy had on 61st and bull st Savannah Ga.That would be just the most wonderful thing to see again Thanks again for a wonderful video And bringing back memories of being a kid.

I remember as a young child riding on the SantaFe from Perry OK. To Emporia, KS to visit relatives. Such fun . I also remember riding the Doodle Bug as well.

That is a beautiful group of engines! I’m amazed at the engineering necessary to build such beautiful “models” that operate exactly as their perspective prototypes. I’m also amazed at the creativity and engineering that goes into creating such gorgeous railroads, as well as the accompanying scenery elements! Great video!

This is such a cool video! Our live steam railroad (Auburn Valley Railroad) has two original Little Engines 4-8-4 Northerns, one of which was one of Martin Lewis' uncompleted prototypes (AVRR 402). These locomotives are still in service today and are based on Union Pacific's FEF-1 Northerns

If I ever become half as good of a machinist as Pam, I'd consider that a great accomplishment.

pam was the only one to not overfire her engine she never popped a safety valve, what gauge 7.25 or 7.5, very nice trains all around and seemed like perfect trackwork

When I was growing up in St John's in Portland Oregon they used to have a parade once a year in St John's and in the parade on the back of a flatbed semi used to be a steam locomotive like yours I don't know whatever happened to it. It might have been something they had out at oaks Park for a while but they soon stopped having some of the little trains out there too don't know whatever happened to them unless they're still stored in oaks Park there are some buildings there that look like they can hold those little trains

Hi from the UK are railway/Road is 10inch gauge full standard gauge locomotives with one USTAC S160 war department the rest are British 9fs and the like but by God they are some beautiful locomotives you have there thank you for sharing

First let me say that this is a wonderful video and the locomotives are beyond words - totally amazing!! But if I have one complaint, and it’s a big complaint, why are y’all so frugal, so conservative with the whistle blowing? That’s one of the wonders of steam locomotives-the thrill of listening to that whistle blow! But throughout the whole video we barely get to hear the whistle, and when we do, it’s such an anemic blow.😞 I heard it a few times, but still it seems like y’all are afraid to use the steam whistle. Aside from that, y’all have created a great wonder of the world. Thank you!!

Here in Dayton Ohio at Carillon Park there is a railroad club that runs these trains I've been there in person and I'm sorry it looks so ridiculous to see grown men sitting on dinky little steam engines.

The trains are Beautiful, but they could have gotten a better narrator. You can tell he's reading from cue cards by the way he keeps pausing in the middle of the sentences. Other than that the video was awesome.

The art of machinists such as these guys is dying out, mainly because it is not being taught in schools (that I know of)! Unless men such as these take it upon themselves to show the intricacies of what is involved in building high pressure boilers, steel wheels, knuckles, bearings, screws and nuts and bolts etc. we won't see anymore steam locomotives in the future!
