@@5150mxVW , get the car done and drive it back there on a nice summer day, then even though it's running and painted..tell him now you're going to rail buggy it! LOL, maybe not, his poor heart might not take it. A tip, use quarts of rustoleum paint from a big box store that starts with a M, not only reasonable on sale, but contains anti-rust stuff right in it, and they have a surprising range of colors, I know as I've used it more than once. Works great

@@5150mxVWunfortunately he is parking it right on the street. He recovered it from a barn in the north east about 12years ago and Doesn't own a garage. I have mentioned to him put it somewhere safe so many times. Regardless of the offers he doesn't want to sell. I told him one day you might be hurting for money. Said, to him just walk three houses up with that title and I'll have a grip of cash for you by tomorrow. Regardless, looks like you got a pretty solid VW to work with. I subscribed to your Channel.
